Unexpected trouble on first mission

Professor Wang is already gone . But when he was leaving he smiled as he was thinking " wow! What a God given chance, originally you would choose your partner for assessment but now you are struck with that B rank guide.Mo Chen Yi you can't escape this time. I specially prepared that task and space vehicle for you and with that B rank guide Shen you have no chances to escape this time . Hahahahahahahahaha...!"

Now Shen lin and Chen Yi was alone once again,all by themselves.

Shen lin was still looking in the direction where the spirit beast flied and he heard Chen Yi slow voice. Shen lin turned to face Chen Yi only to saw Chen Yi's frown face .He was looking very angry. Although Shen lin already knew the reason for the male God's anger , Actually the old man or Professor Wang they met before was actually a side villian just like Shen lin. Shen lin had a vague feeling that this old man come here for making trouble specially for Male God Chen Yi but now he was struck with him.

When Shen lin just remembering the real plot he got a little bit of pressure and start talking to himself in his thoughts " Ohhh! It means the annual assessment plot is already Started. It's the time when male lead get close with his first wife ' Yue ' .Yue is an A class guide and she is Chen Yi's classmate also .In the annual assessment they make a team.But due to an accident they have to face a great level beast. Unexpectedly Chen Yi got hurt but Yue heal him with her guide abilities.Then they together complete their task but when are returning one of their space vehicle's engine suddenly blast and they have to land on a random planet .

Fortunately they didn't encounter any mutated beast on that planet and returned after repairing their space vehicle."

When he was collecting information about plot ,he heard Chen Yi who was having a anger burst moment.

Chen Yi angrily: This old man did he really think that I don't know what he is he planning and what he wants to do?

When Shen lin come out of his own thoughts he noticed that there is a machine that looks like some mini spaceship beside Chen Yi.

Shen lin wanted to ask in excitement " Oh my god! What is this and from where did this come from,it was not there a moment ago?."

But he already knew that this is not his own world and he is in a completely different world where things like space ring exists they can store space vehicle and more things inside them .But it's a pity anyone can't use space rings as they are costly and exclusive for superhumans . And he knows if he ask that question Chen Yi probably reply with a cold face " Are you having a mental breakdown due to this minor head injury or do you already a idiot ಠಿ⁠_⁠ಠ ?"

So, Shen lin come to a conclusion that it's better if I don't ask this question.

But he was really surprised to see a space vehicle he only read about in novel.

Chen Yi was silent for a moment and after reading about their task he give a deep sigh with a troubled expression.

Chen Yi continued " This is our first mission.

Unexpectedly we got trouble as our first task ."

Shen lin: what do you mean by trouble as our task .Shen lin thought " I know it will not be easy but why are you declaring this trouble as first thing of all ."

Chen Yi: I knew it .....that Old man was not here just for fun he was here to bring our death closer our door.

Shen lin: What are you saying? Can you please make it easy to understand rather than playing with words?

Chen Yi: Hahhh! Do you know what our assessment task is ?

Shen lin: " I know but why would I expose myself? " .No ,I don't know what happened, what is our task that you are making that kind of face ?

Chen Yi: Our task is to take care heart of mutated blade bugs.

Shen lin: ahh... So why are you behaving like this it's just core heart of three blade bugs .

Chen Yi smirked: Who said it's core heart of three blade bugs?

Shen lin: What..... What you want to say can't you make it clear?

Chen Yi smiled a little: It's not just three blade bugs it's 100 blade bugs .

Shen lin: what!

Chen Yi: core heart of a hundred blade bugs.

Shen lin got dum struck as he shouted: Are you kidding me a hundred blade bugs. Don't u know they have very strong defence and even though they are blade bugs by name they are more bigger than us ,in front of them we are like some bugs. And they have sharp forelimb legs like blade to attack.If it is one or two we can deal with them.But how the hell are we supposed to kill hundred of them just by both of us.

Chen Yi: What do you think?

Shen lin wanted to shout " Is it happening because of me , I'm still alive ,is it causing butterfly effect. But why now of all the time .I barely escaped my death from his hands and now you are telling me that I have to go and die by the hands like cutters of those blade bugs . No no no it can't be."but he can't do that .

He just said to Chen Yi in a troubled voice " Is it necessary to give this assessment, can't we just skip this?" and smile slightly.

Chen Yi: What are you even talking about?

Don't forget it's all your fault.

Shen lin: What ! My fault.

Chen Yi: Obviously,it's you fault.

Shen lin was at loss of words as to what to say to this irritating man in front of him but he frowned his eyes and asked " And how is this my fault. Are you saying that this task is made by me or are you saying I'm the one supervising this annual assessment that I didn't saw this abnormal task ?"

Chen Yi: Believe it or not it's all your fault.

Even if this task is not your creativity or you are not the supervisor of this annual assessment.

Shen lin: Hahh ! How can you....

Shen lin was talking but Chen Yi interrupted him in middle and express his fact " Don't forget it was your kindness that we are struck here ."

After hearing this Shen lin was stunned and angry at same time but Chen Yi continued that " If we are not struck here i definitely team up with an A level guide and now it's your kindness that I have to team up with a B level guide and bonus point a useless guide like you. "

Shen lin know what he means by an useless guide. Shen lin don't have any spiritual beast even after the age of 20 . Normally all espers and guides awake their spiritual beast at the age of 16 but Shen lin was an exception. Although he was a guide and pretty talented in controlling his spiritual energy he did not awake his spiritual beast and he didn't even enter his spiritual sea till now. Chen Yi sighed: " Whatever ! We have to complete this assessment task by whatever means we have to use ."

Shen lin looked troubled but he didn't say anything he was thinking that Chen Yi is main protagonist he will not die , right.so I don't have to worry about him but what about me , I'm not even a supportive character I'm just a side scum villian who is already dead to begin with. Chen Yi looked at Shen lin and after noticing his troubled look he said " You don't have to worry about your life I will not let anything happen to you."

After hearing this Shen lin got stunned and ask : " Are you saying you will protect me? "

Chen Yi: Yes , I will. Don't forget your life belongs to me now I want to kill you with my own hands. I will not give this Golden chance to those mutated blade bugs.

Shen lin with a sad and furious face : So , You just don't want to loose your chance to torture me to those mutated blade bugs.

Chen Yi without any expression: Yes ,or what do you think.

Shen lin : "...."

Chen Yi : Don't flatter yourself too much. Did you really think that I want to protect you like a beauty in damsel?

Shen lin: stop it now ,can you?

Chen Yi with serious side eyes: why are you calling me like that when did I give you permission to call me like that? I don't remember giving you any permission like that.

Shen lin: What?

Chen Yi: Aren't you my servant now ?

Shen lin:"....." so?

Chen Yi with a little smirk : Now you will call me boss or you can also prefer yourself to call me master if you want.

Shen lin: " ...what? I think boss is better."

Chen Yi: So, it's decided then you will call me boss from now on . And we are leaving for assessment planet location we can't delay any longer. Understand....my servant.

Shen lin: okay.

Then they both take off from that island. Bei was also with them . It took them almost four hours to reach on assessment location. After landing on assessment location Chen Yi check the controls of space vehicle.

After checking everything Chen Yi: I already checked everything it would not be any problem with control panels. And I will leave Bei with you here so take care of him.

Shen lin narrowed his eyebrows and asked: Am I not coming with you?

Chen Yi: "....."no.

Shen lin: Why.?

Chen Yi: Simple,cause I don't trust you.

Shen lin: "....." hmmph ." Leave it I don't want to ask why he didn't trust me and it's good for me if you don't want to take me there ."

Shen lin: When are you coming back?

Chen Yi: Why would you ask ?

Shen lin: I will leave if you don't come back before the deadline of annual assessment.

Chen Yi: You can't leave without my permission that's why I am leaving Bei here with you. And you don't have to worry about the deadline of annual assessment I will definitely come back at noon tomorrow.

And if I can't come back before noon tomorrow you are free to leave at your will.

Shen lin: Are you seriously kidding me?

Chen Yi with angry eyes : Huu! What did you call me?

Shen lin: Boss , I mean Boss . I'm saying that you have to handle hundred blade bugs.Are you sure you will come back at noon tomorrow.

Chen Yi: So what?

Chen Yi: Are you perhaps worried about me ?

Chen Yi after opening the door to space vehicle: I'm leaving now and you don't come out of it's not necessary.

Shen lin : Ok.

Chen Yi with big eyes looking at Shen lin.

Shen lin: Okay Boss .

Chen Yi: Then I will take my leave now.

Chen Yi turned and leave after closing the door. Now Shen lin and Bei was alone .
