62. A Fierce Pureblood Vampir

A new problem arose—several people were found in a state of madness on the same night. They moved and screamed wildly like wild animals, running around and even attempting to bite others. The police and medical teams immediately secured and isolated them, fearing the spread of a virus.

"That's Vanholm's doing again!" Clayton stated firmly.

"But I saw people with the same condition in your castle! Tell me the truth, Clayton."

The man sat beside Odel, took a deep breath, and began speaking in a serious tone.

"The people around our castle were once normal, but they became victims of vampires. "We took them in because humans no longer wanted them," Clayton explained.

"What do you mean?"

"Since they lost their sanity and there was no cure for them, those people were abandoned in the forest. "So, we took care of them," Clayton clarified.

"Then who is responsible for this?" asked Odel.
