89. The Tormenting Fate

The injury of Adrian, the chaos that ensued, and Clayton secretly following Odel made her feel frustrated. Because of that, she immediately blamed Clayton for everything that had happened. This made Clayton upset, and he vanished. The vampire man seemed hurt because Odel had put all the blame on him.

Clayton left, and Odel let out a deep sigh before turning to Adrian.

"Eat!" Odel said, pointing at the breakfast box she had given him earlier.

Adrian nodded and began scooping up his food while Odel sat on the chair beside the bed.

"Did you have a rough day?" Adrian asked.

"There's nothing pleasant for me right now! "I'm surrounded by bloodsucking vampires!" Odel replied curtly.

Adrian sighed and looked at her again. "I understand, but no one chooses their fate as a vampire." Every being is born with their own destiny. "I think what you did to Clayton might have hurt him," Adrian said, as if giving her advice.
