The pope

Lucas hearing the pope already had a slight feeling about the door discussion they were about to have. With the room being fairly lit with candles on the wall, a large dining hall in the centre he could lay down in and a smiling pope Infront, he took a seat.

After he sat down four attendants came into the room each carrying something in their hands. After they came near the table they put down a steak Infront of both of them and other poured water in a tall glass of iron.

The pope after waving his hand and dismissing the attendants spread his arms and after parting to the goddess with a smile told Lucas.

"Let us start"

And started to eat the steak infornt of him, Lucas seeing the pope eat also started to chow down on the meat. While enjoying the meal, Lucas couldn't help but notice the tension in the air after their silence, he started to feel tensed and ackward. Even a slight russel could be noisy. But to break the silence pope while cutting the steak asked Lucas.

"So,my child how was your day, what did you do?"

Lucas after swallowing the meat with a smile told pope.

"It was very nice, I went to the training ground and met the chief instructor, he was very nice, I even learned some tricks and tips from him "

Pope with a smile looked at the boy and told him.

"I am delighted that you find him good, you should know him better, as he will be your instructor from tomorrow until you live here"

After taking another bite of the steak pope again told Lucas.

"I called you here because I needed to inform you that, as per the lady wisdom's will you can stay here until your coming of age ceremony, you are not forced to but you can choose to, and also that you will be baptized tomorrow"

Lucas while chewing on the steak, was taking in all the information. Then Hugin suddenly came down flying and restedd at the left shoulder of Lucas. Seeing Hugin pope was visibility interested and mildly surprised. Looking at the pope's reaction Lucas quickly spoke while pointing his hand towards Hugin.

"Sorry for introducing him late, this is Hugin my holy spirit."

Pope with a smile replied to Lucas.

"Oh, so this is your manifestation of will, I can definitely sense holy power oozing from it, but it is quite different than the one's our goddess bestowed upon us, maybe because our god is different than you, hmmm sensing it's signal it is saying something to you please tell me"

Lucas hearing pope was surprised as Hugin really had told him something. Lucas then with a small smile told the Pope.

"Yes pope Francis, Hugin told me that my god had permitted for me to train and live until my coming of age ceremony, Hugin also told me that I will be in your cre from now on until the coming of age ceremony "

The pope with a big smile plastered all over his face raised his wine glass and said.

"Well I am glad you are here, I hope I won't disappoint the lord and will try my best"

Lucas also with a bright smile on his face raised his water cup and said.

"Thanyou for your consideration, I will do my best as well"

And with that they both were now joyful, the atmosphere from before was almost non-existent now. Wile Hugin was given a another stake to itself by a server.

After the dinner ended both Lucas and pope went their own ways. While pope left for the preparation for Luca's baptism. Lucas wandered around the church quarters for some fresh air while Hugin followed him from behind. Lucas then suddenly noticed someone beside the fountain sitting in the bench.

Looking closer it was another boy sitting idly gazing at the stars above while his foot swing. Lucas finding it odd that a child of all people would be here int he curch but also remembered he too was a child in the curch. Deciding to talk to the boy Lucas walked towards him and listening to the footsteps, the boy also turned around, now both facing each other.

Lucas being a curious child started the conversation by asking.

"Hello, may I ask who you are?"

The boy with a calm voice said.

"Hello my name is Nolan, I am the adoptive grandson of the pope, and how about you?"

Lucas after hearing Nolan's response for some reason, felt relived and after sitting beside Nolan he said

"My name is Lucas I am going to be living here from now on, you can also call me your brother "

"Hmmmm brother huh, so you are also addoped by the pope ?" Said Nolan with same calm and collective tone.

"Well let's just say that for short, anyway what are you doing here?" Lucas aid whole also joining joining Nolan on star gazing.

Nolan while looking up told Lucas, "I was just gazing at the beauty of stars"

Lucas with a smile told Nolan, "Did you know, from the village I came from people used to make up animals or humans with the stars aligned in a specific order, we called them constellation."

While pointing at a set of star Lucas added, "that set of star over there is called the hawk constellation, it always towards points east and represens loyalty and brotherhood, very facinating right"

Nolan with a smile said to Lucas, "Yes very facinating indeed."

After that Lucas showed some more constellations to Nolan, and after showing him few constellation like a bull constellation representing strength, a hunter constellation representing human survival and many more. Thay both started to makeup their own constellation from the stars they could find.

All while pope from the top of the curch watched and smiled lovingly looking at his two grandsons and told to the chief instructor.

"Look at them, they get along so well, I am relived that I can entrust the future if holy land in their hand"

Hearing the pope, instructor smiled while plokg at the children below.
