Chapter 49- Naked
Logan's POV
Sitting in the living room, I listened absentmindedly as my father and Declan continued their conversation.
It was boring. Painfully so.
But honestly, I preferred this over the awkward silence I knew was waiting for me in Tyler's room.
I hated this.
I hated the way he made me feel.
I hated that I couldn't stop thinking about him.
Still, the exhaustion from the day started catching up to me. My eyelids grew heavy, and I barely stifled a yawn.
Declan seemed to notice. "Maid, show Logan to Tyler's room."
I stood up, stretching a little before nodding in appreciation. "Thank you."
With every step, my heartbeat quickened.
Tyler was going to be there.
We were going to be alone.
It wasn't like I had a choice, but damn if it didn't feel like I was willingly walking into the lion's den.
