"For the two humans, we want two gold coins per person, per night," the goblin was a strange creature. It looked just like a goblin's should: green skin, pointy ears, shiny teeth.
And yet, Pan thought that this goblin was the strangest goblin he had ever seen. It was not only because the goblin had on normal clothes, but also because the goblin was not dirty at all.
"Of course. Here, take this," Brandon handed the coin purse to the goblin, and the goblin pocketed it away. Soon, they were being rushed inside, and Pan was being handed Brenda again.
"The baby should have a warm place to sleep," the goblin said, as he looked Pan up and down. "It will be for the best if the dragon slayer is with you, dragon, and not with the humans."
"And why is that?" Brandon felt overjoyed, but he didn't want to stop himself from asking the goblin these questions. After all, Pan should know that he had no finger in this arrangement.
