Pan's footsteps echoed in the empty halls. He had been sure that he had entered a cave, but now, as he saw the dwarven ruins, he knew that he was a much more dangerous place.
He did not care. Was happy, even.
Dwarven ruins normally hosted creatures. Creatures whose organs he could eat. He did not care that he was going to become like Solas.
He wanted vengeance.
The snap of teeth was the first thing he heard. The red lights in the distance gave away the fact that there was a vampire nearby.
The lights were near the ground. Pan smiled.
This vampire was no human one. Just a creature who had been bit and then left to decay.
Pan took off his dagger.
The two red lights were joined by another pair. Then another.
Pan took a step back.
A nest!
The nymph looked at the ceiling. As a new dragon, he was still small. Even a colony of ants could topple down a tree. The vampires were too many.
He needed to take a risk.
