Chapter 97: The Color of Bark

"This chamber," after Solas had chewed up Doran for nearly starting a fight somehow, the general was back into leading mode.

Telets couldn't help but admire the man. He was about as vicious as a shark. Not to mention that he wasn't threatening Pan anymore.

"Is connected to this one," Doran pointed at a spot on the ceiling with his fingers. "But the thing is, even if King Alexios is dead, the Childless Queen is still very much alive. And the undead, well…"

"No one is reining them in, is that it?" Brandon snapped. Doran shrugged. Well, they had to take over the country. But Solas was leaving that up to Sylvan, who was taking his sweet time with it. "For crying out loud!"

"Hey!" Doran snapped, sizing Brandon up. "If you spent less time braiding your hair, pretty boy, and more fighting by your husband's side, then none of this would have happened!"

"He's not my husband! I divorced him!" Brandon sprang to his feet.
