Chapter 117: Stolen Moments

Adam was confused. He was not handsome. No mountain of muscle like Telets.

And yet, the boy, the Guild Master, Adam corrected himself, was still running by his side.

The spell needed to be leveled up. Telets could make it stop at the blink of an eye.

It was all because of practicality, Adam told himself.

The horselord prince was just doing this, so Adam wouldn't die.

And yet, as Telets smiled at him, waving at him so they would go down the corridor and back into the cavern, he followed.

Because even though Adam was fat, and weak, and could not run very fast, he was still a guild member. And this boy, the boy who had held him at night for three nights in a row, was his Guild Master.

"Hey, Telets!" It was the king. Adam stumbled over himself to try to make a bow.

Only Telets' strong arms stopped him from falling to the ground.
