It was not something Telets often did. It was not something he had ever though he'd do.
But as he hugged the wall, and looked down, at the bog with its green miasma, he couldn't help but think that, well, he needed to double track.
In the academy, and the slight guild training before, they were taught that a dungeon had three stages:
The easy boil the frog floors, where the mobs were scarce and wouldn't be able to kill an adventurer who knew where the sharp point of their weapon was.
Then there were the force fields. A stage in the dungeon which could only be passed through a barrier.
Then, Telets knew, as the old, but familiar noises of his worst nightmare, not that he would tell Adam that he worshiped the ground under the healer's feet because of the boy's barriers, were the dinos.
He knew that it wasn't their full name. That they had another, but that was how he had remembered them as: dinos!
