Ray walked towards the workers as naturally as he could. None of them noticed that he was an intruder as he wore the guard's uniform.
He approached two workers who were removing sniper rifles from a container. When he was close enough, one of the more alert workers looked up and realized that he was a stranger.
"Hey you!" These were the last words the worker shouted before he was struck by Ray's fist. Ray's movements were as fast as lightning, hitting and kicking the softest spots of their bodies and sent them into unconsciousness.
The remaining two workers quickly jumped over and tried to hit Ray with iron rods. Ray quickly dodged and at the same time, pushed one of the men's arm, making his rod change direction, hitting his own partner instead of Ray. Ray then added a kick in the stomach for the worker. The poor guy fell into a container and Ray quickly covered it before he could climb out.
The very last worker knew very well he could not defeat Ray by himself. So, he chose to run away instead of continuing his assault. Ray did not stop him. After all, he needed a messenger to tell Frank Geldof what had happened.
Ray quickly put all the containers in a Ford truck and drove away. The firearms were his bait to lure Frank Geldof expose himself. Obviously, Frank had just too much confidence in his influence here. So much so that he did not arrange his best men to guard the firearms. Or else, it would not be so easy for Ray to get hold of the items.
Ray drove the truck to a car park just beside Disneyland and waited until the first ray of morning sun shone on him. Then, more and more cars started to come in, mainly visitors to Disneyland.
Ray chose this location for the very reason that it would be full of people in a short while. No matter how many hitmen Frank Geldof had, he could not start a large scale war with him with so many people around. This also saved him the trouble to go to Frank's working place.
Ray would not worry if Frank could not find him. Since Frank could track him down to the motel, it was definitely not difficult for Frank to locate the Ford truck.
And Ray was right. Frank Geldof arrived in his Lexus, along with two black Acura SUVs before the car park filled up.
Frank Geldof stepped out once he saw Ray. He was all smiles as he walked towards Ray, with four brutal-looking men from the SUVs right behind him. "Hey buddy! What's this all about?"
Ray remained silent and just responded with a cynical smile.
Frank stopped when he was about two meters away from Ray. Obviously, he was afraid that Ray would strike him all of a sudden.
"Is this about Ellen?" Frank asked with his head tilted. "If you want her back, you should work on her. Not on me."
"Frank, just cut the crap. You sent hitmen to kill me, and you work for an asshole by the name of Richardson. If you want your stuff back, you can start by telling me what this is all about." Ray calmly made his demand, and it made Frank frown.
"Well... I was told that Ellen's ex was a troublemaker and I should get rid of him if he appears. That's all. Now go away while you're still alive." Frank signaled his hitmen, and all four of them pulled out guns with silencers, all pointing at Ray.
This was all within Ray's expectations. So, he was as calm as ever under the gunpoint.
"I assume my stuff is in the truck. Just fuck off quietly. Don't cause a scene, and I will let you live for now." Ray was right about Frank. He really did not want to kill someone in broad daylight, with so many witnesses around.
However, this was not something that Ray worried about. He was not afraid to make a big deal out of this. And more importantly, he wanted everyone, especially Ellen, to know that Frank was a bad guy.
Ray quickly pressed a button on a remote control which activated explosives in the truck. Then, he quickly lay on the ground. As soon as he touched the ground, the Ford truck exploded, blowing the nearby vehicles sky-high and impacting the four hitmen as well.
The truck was loaded with all sorts of firearms, and the explosive acted as a catalyst for more explosions. Ray did not wait for all the explosions to settle down. He jumped up from the ground and struck the hitmen while they were stunned by the sudden explosions.
It was not easy to tackle four armed hitmen, but it was made easier when their focus was distracted. The hitman closest to Ray was the first target. He received a chop on his neck, and his gun was snatched while he was in great pain. Ray then turned around and shot the second hitman in the forehead. Before the dead hitman fell to the ground, Ray quickly hid behind him, using him as a shield from bullets fired by the remaining two hitmen. Blood splashed from the unlucky hitman's dead body as Ray squatted down, reached his arm between his legs, and fired at the two hitmen.
It was a bloody gunfight but ended rather abruptly when the two hitmen were shot through their hearts. Ray was definitely a good shooter who did not like to waste his bullets. He had planned all his steps before striking, and good planning yielded good results. All four hitmen were down in less than one minute.
Frank Geldof was definitely not aware of who he was messing with when he got here. Hence, he was totally shocked when four of his best men were taken care of so quickly. He wanted to get inside his Lexus and get away but was stopped by Ray, with a gun pointed at his head.
"Tell me who and where your boss is," Ray said coldly.
"Ray, are you sure you wanna get into this mess? There's no turning back from here on."
"For your fucking information, I never turn back," Ray said determinedly.
"Alright... alright..."
Just when Ray thought that he would get a name and address from Frank, he sensed unknown danger from his soldier's instinct. He immediately backed away from Frank, and due to his quick action, the bullet intended for his head barely missed him.
There was a sniper hiding somewhere, taking fatal shots whenever possible!
