Fragments of Oblivion: Lost Memories

Shameless, I know. Debiddo here, and although the thought of a self review is cringe worthy, I thought a few points would be great to touch on. I started this journey attempting to blend tech with magic in a way that wasn't like the others of the genre. Hence, the central memory theme. This isn’t a story with OP characters or useless protagonists that gain godlike power, but one that knocks on the door of realism like a dawned soul waiting for permission. Nevertheless, I aim to provoke thought and entertain with this dark fantasy series. I'm only three chapters in so far but, at the moment I'm really enjoying it. The theme is something I definitely rock with as a magic and tech fan. Once I catch up I'll update my review, but so far, it's definitely 5 stars.

Why does this get better by the chapter. I wish this was a completed book. Having to wait sucks! In a good way, of course. Still if we can get more drops mister Author, it would be much appreciated.

Writing style is top tier! The author really draws you in to the world, and the characters, their backstories and the motivations behind them are very intriguing. A promising start, crossing my fingers that you take off an earn a contract

I love how the story starts and the protagonist’s background. Making him use his memory to use magic is a great sacrifice. I’m not really a fan of tech novel, but this definitely change me perspective. I’m looking forward to the upcoming chapters.

The story has an impressive atmosphere right from the start promising a gritty nuanced approach hinting at bigger developments in the future. The main character is uniquely relatable to anyone who has suffered loss and felt the struggles of feeling powerless in the face of life’s hardships. The author is able to reach deep into the readers psyche and push buttons I didn’t even know were still there. Just the first two chapters alone left an impactful mark on my mind. It definitely left me wanting more and slightly afraid of what other emotions his powerful words might bring forth from within.
