Chapter 163: Yukino: Let Her Stand All Night!

The clear sound of running water came from the bathroom, where Utaha was already taking a shower.

Yukino, dressed in a pure white nightgown, sat in the living room, waiting for Haru to finish drying her hair before asking, "Are you going to sleep on the sofa again tonight?"

"If you two don't want to sleep together, then I'll sleep on the sofa."

Haru didn't mind. At this point, he could function on just 2-4 hours of sleep every night and still feel completely refreshed, no longer experiencing the overwhelming exhaustion that he used to before his "crossing."

"I really don't want to sleep in the same bed with her," Yukino stated plainly.

Haru wasn't surprised and casually asked, "Is it because you two argue before bed?"

"No."

Yukino's tone was slightly ambiguous: "She always likes to hug something when she sleeps, whether it's a pillow, a blanket, or anything warm. She'll take anything she can hug."

Haru froze for a moment, trying to hold back a laugh. He asked, "Last time you two were resting in the bedroom, did she hold you all night?"

Yukino stared at him expressionlessly. "Is that funny?"

"Not funny at all! How could something like that be funny? I'm actually angry, because I've always felt that only I should be the one holding you while you sleep."

"…You're so dumb."

Yukino could tell he was being serious, but still felt a little annoyed.

That night, when she had woken up drowsily, she found that Utaha had pulled her into an embrace, her face completely pressed into the other girl's chest.

That feeling was absolutely awful!

Yukino's real thoughts were just that.

She had also slept in the same bed with her sister before, and similar things had happened.

But with her sister, who was family, she never thought it was strange.

The only thing that bothered her was that her sister's chest was as big as Utaha's.

All she had to do was recall the scene from that night—her senior, just one year older, washing her face and sleeping beside her. Meanwhile, she herself was nothing special…

Even when it came to sleeping, there was this comparison, and it really pissed her off.

She didn't envy or feel jealous, she was just plain annoyed.

Haru could guess her thoughts and immediately started talking about something else to divert her attention.

"Do you want to play a game? There's still some time before we go to bed."

"I don't have any games I want to play."

As expected, Yukino didn't agree immediately.

Haru had anticipated this and got up to grab his laptop, opening a gaming platform and then a folder called "Wind Spirit Moon Shadow Sect."

Yukino curiously glanced over. "Wind Spirit Moon Shadow, what is that?"

Haru opened an old single-player game. "Remember that sound effect you heard when you watched me play games before?"

"Oh, the mod?" Yukino obviously remembered.

She picked up an apple and began peeling it, saying, "So the sound effect was from the mod? I always thought it didn't match the game music."

Haru raised a finger. "Let me give you a little lesson. The sound effect used by the mod doesn't belong to 'Wind Spirit Moon Shadow.' It's from a very classic game called 'Metal Max.'"

Yukino couldn't be bothered to respond. She wasn't interested in this kind of knowledge.

But since there was nothing else to do, she stayed by Haru's side and watched him play a game called "Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI."

Haru had played this game many times before, and now he was using a mod just to have some fun.

Before long, Utaha came out of the shower. She glanced at the two sitting on the sofa and smiled, saying, "Haru, can you help me blow dry my hair?"

"Don't you have hands?" Yukino bit into the apple, the sweet and sour juice making her squint with satisfaction.

Haru immediately stood up. "Let's not argue late at night. I'll help you... Yukino, since you've watched me play for so long, you should know how to play by now, right?"

"I don't know how," Yukino shot him a look. She wasn't particularly interested in games.

Haru coughed. "This is a Three Kingdoms-themed game. With your knowledge, you should be able to pick it up easily."

Hearing this, Yukino's interest was slightly piqued.

Haru used a hairdryer to dry Utaha's hair while Yukino took the mouse and started experimenting with the game.

Haru couldn't help but think to himself: Games based on the Three Kingdoms theme really are popular in Japan.

"Were you just playing a Three Kingdoms game?"

Utaha, looking at the reflection in the mirror while Haru adjusted her hair, smiled with a blush on her face.

"Technically, she's the one watching me play."

"I know a little about the Three Kingdoms, would you like me to guide you through the game?"

As soon as Utaha finished speaking, Yukino's cold voice came from the side: "If you need guidance, I can help."

Haru fought to hold back a laugh. Just as Utaha was suppressing her smile and getting ready for a playful verbal battle, he interjected, "How about we go back to that cooking game from last time?"

"No!" Yukino and Utaha both rejected at the same time.

Haru was stunned. "You rejected that really fast."

Yukino's voice, cutting through the noise of the hairdryer, slowly sounded: "I've had enough of Senpai's weird ideas. She could finish the game quickly, but she always wastes time."

Utaha wasn't going to give up. "Funny, I can't stand your 'speedrun' style either. Games are supposed to be fun. Playing like you is no fun at all."

Yukino snorted. "Are you saying that you look down on players who aim to finish the game?"

"Yukino, making assumptions about people is bad behavior," Utaha countered with a smirk.

Haru, while drying Utaha's fragrant hair, thought to himself: Their playstyles are completely different.

One focuses on completing levels, while the other prefers exploring other aspects of the game.

So Haru decided to be a troublemaker and picked a game called "Cat Rio," an old modified game.

That night, Utaha couldn't say "Games are supposed to be fun" again.

Yukino, too, was unable to speedrun past the tricky traps in the game.

Later that night, Utaha went to the guest room, and Yukino returned to her bedroom.

Haru continued playing games in the living room until 11 p.m. When he saw the light on in the bedroom, he grabbed his laptop and went in.

"Are you going to rest now?"

Yukino was sitting on the bed, holding a small nail clipper.

Haru's eyes lit up. "Hold on, don't move, I'll do it!"

Yukino sighed. "I knew you were going to say that."

Though she complained, she still put the nail clipper down.

Haru sat next to her, took the clipper, and extended his hand. "Give me your foot."

Yukino glared at him but lifted her delicate, soft foot, allowing him to hold it.

Her toenails weren't very long; she probably just wanted a quick trim.

Haru carefully trimmed her nails, holding her soft, smooth foot in his hands.

Although this wasn't the first time they'd been this intimate, Yukino still maintained her modesty. As she lifted her leg, she used her hand to press down her skirt to avoid any accidental exposure.

Haru couldn't help but tease her. "You don't need to cover up. If I wanted to see, you wouldn't be able to stop me."

Yukino almost kicked him in the face in frustration.

What did that even mean? It sounded like she would cooperate with him!

After finishing trimming her nails, Haru admired her beautiful feet. "Very nice."

"Alright, you don't need to show me your foot fetish again," Yukino said, pulling her foot back with a disgusted expression.

Haru shook his head. "I'm not a foot fetishist."

Yukino didn't say anything, just cast a light glance at his face.

That look seemed to say: Keep lying, I'm listening.

Haru decided to prove that he wasn't just a foot fetishist.

He turned and gently ran his hand over Yukino's calf, thigh, and finally her small waist.

"You... stop touching me," Yukino blushed and whispered, instinctively trying to pull away, but she was held in place by Haru.

"How about I sleep here until morning, and then go back to the living room?" he whispered near her ear.

Yukino's face turned red, and she bit her lip, not meeting his eyes. "Aren't you worried Senpai will come over?"

Haru calmly responded, "She should already be asleep."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Well, when I came in earlier, the guest room light was off."

As soon as Haru finished speaking, a knock came at the door. "What are you two doing in there? Don't tell me it's what I'm thinking!"

Haru froze, about to retreat.

Yukino suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck and coldly said, "Let her stand outside. If she likes standing, she can stand there all night."

Haru was dumbfounded. "You want her to listen ?"
