Preparation for Succession and Marriage Ceremony

October 30th, 1693.

Prince Bruno sat in his study, reviewing the endless documents related to his upcoming coronation and marriage to Lady Amélie de Vauclerc. His desk was covered with letters from noble families, trade guilds, foreign dignitaries, and city officials, all either sending congratulations or making requests to be part of the grand event. The weight of ruling Elysea had already settled on his shoulders, but now, the ceremonial aspect of his ascension demanded his attention.

Across from him, Antoine Leclerc was seated, flipping through a stack of invitations.

"The nobles are eager to show their loyalty," Leclerc remarked, smirking. "Many of those who once opposed your reforms are now scrambling to secure a good position at the coronation. Hypocrisy at its finest."

Bruno barely looked up as he signed another document. "They know resistance is useless now. They'll play their role, as they always do."
