Lost Records -1

Amon's hand hovered desperately over Ying Yue as she suddenly collapsed, her body falling limp in the dim light of the library's inner chamber. Her energy, once surging with intense power, dissipated like a fading star. His heart raced, panic flooding his chest as he shook her once more.

"Ying Yue!" His voice cracked. He didn't know what was happening, but he knew it was bad.

But her eyes remained closed, unresponsive.

Suddenly, the faint glow from her palm flickered one last time, then burst into a radiant beam of light. The library, once shrouded in eerie shadows, seemed to breathe as the light flooded the space.

......

The world around Ying Yue was no longer the dark, abandoned library. Instead, she found herself in an extravagant hall, a palace of ancient grandeur. Marble columns soared high, their intricate designs almost glowing in the faint light. But this place though beautiful had an air of death and finality hanging over it.

Before her was a man, seated on a massive throne, dressed in royal garb. His face was hardened, but there was wisdom in his eyes. His posture was regal, but weary, as if the weight of countless wars had finally taken its toll.

His presence alone radiated an aura of power, but also of deep sorrow. As he gazed down at her, his lips curled into a faint smile, though it was filled with regret.

Then, a soft click echoed through the room, and a robot maid delicate in design but unyielding in its mechanical precision entered the chamber. Its voice was smooth, though unmistakably artificial.

"Sir, it seems the Monarch's forces are in the planet's vicinity. They will be attacking soon. Zarathos, Voryn, and Vespara have teamed up. They are dead set on your death."

The figure leaned back in his throne, a quiet laugh escaping his lips, though it held no humor. "Haha, it seems it's time to show them that this Thaddeus doesn't cower even in the face of death."

His gaze grew distant, filled with memories of long-forgotten battles. "It's a shame, though. After my death, all of these creations-my wife Evangeline's creations will be destroyed. But it can't be helped. Prepare the forces. We will go down today… but not alone."

The air shifted as his words hung in the room, heavy and foreboding.

Suddenly, the scene blurred and shifted. The pristine throne room dissolved, replaced by the chaos of war an intense battle taking place in the black expanse of space. Ships of all sizes were engaged in fierce combat, firing volleys of energy weapons. Explosions lit up the void, streaking across the sky like shooting stars. Battle drones clashed in the air, their metallic bodies twisting and breaking under the strain of battle. The sounds of destruction were deafening, even across the vacuum of space.

A massive angel-like robot plunged from the heavens, its wings folding awkwardly as it plummeted toward the surface below. Its armor was sleek, golden in hue, but cracked from the force of its descent. Its eyes glowed fiercely, but its movements were sluggish, impaired by the damage it had sustained.

Following it were three blood-red coloured robots, their bodies emiting that same sense of malice that was coming from astel that day falling from the sky like meteors. Two of them were male, their towering bodies encased in jagged red and black armor, glowing with malevolent energy. One was sleek and terrifying, a true embodiment of death, with sharp, angular features and a weapon that seemed forged from the stars themselves.

And then there was the female devil a more graceful, yet no less deadly figure. Her form was fluid, the armor dark, accented with violet streaks that almost seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. Her movements were fluid, elegant, yet her presence was pure malice.

The battlefield was chaos. Ships clashed and exploded, robots and drones collided, and the sounds of war filled the air. But amidst the destruction, one thing stood clear: a giant, powerful figure, broken but unyielding.

The scene shifted again, and Ying Yue saw Thaddeus, dragged from his suit by the female devil-like robot. He was no longer the warrior that had once struck fear into his enemies. His armor lay in ruins, and his body, though still imposing, seemed fragile in the grasp of his captor.

"Haha, look," the female devil cooed with a twisted smile. "The mightiest warrior in the universe, reduced to this. Once a legend. Now a pitiful husk."

Thaddeus spat blood, a defiant grin on his face despite his weakened state. "It's because I am not a monster like you, you people choose to reincarnate destroying you own kind in the process." he muttered, his voice raspy. "You may have won today, but one day, God will put an end to your miserable existence."

She only smiled, almost pityingly. "Aww, how cute," she mocked before plunging her weapon through his chest. With a single motion, she ripped out his heart, holding it up like a trophy. "Go to your wife," she taunted.

Just as Thaddeus's life drained away, the three devils turned their attention toward the entrance of the room. Their eyes narrowed, and a strange energy filled the air. The robotic forces once so confident now seemed on edge.

There, floating before them, was Ying Yue.
