Kitty stayed curled on her bed, the weight of the blanket her only shield against the chill in the room—and the one in her mind. She had no intention of stepping down, no desire to face the emptiness that stretched beyond the edge of her mattress.
Her thoughts drifted back to that day, replaying it in fragments she couldn't piece together. Mori had left for his office earlier, his absence carving an even deeper silence into the space around her. Alone with her thoughts, she clung to the blanket as if it could shield her from the memories she wished she could forget.
A knock startled Kitty, pulling her from her thoughts. At first, she ignored it, hoping whoever it was would go away. But the knocking continued, steady and persistent, chipping away at her resolve.
With a sigh, she wrapped her blanket tightly around herself and shuffled to the door. She cracked it open cautiously, her heart fluttering. The hallway was empty.
Her gaze dropped to the floor. A sleek, expensive-looking bag sat there, its polished leather catching the dim light. It didn't belong here, didn't belong to her.
She looked both ways down the silent corridor before hesitantly pulling the bag inside and closing the door.
She opened the package and discovered a jewellery box that had pink sapphire necklace that was very similar to her eyes, she had carefully placed it on her neck and looked at her reflection.
"It was beautiful.," she thought and placed the jewellery back on the box.
She trailed her way softly to the bathroom and took a long shower, applying all the shower gel and scrubbing herself, she felt soreness on the back and her sensitive area.
She put on a pink floral dress that matched her pink sapphire necklace. She adjusted the necklace saying to herself, "This isn't so bad."
Kitty stepped down the stairs and ordered the maids to bring tea and cookies for her in the gazebo. She'd enjoy the garden which was filled with red and pink roses.
Chuya Nakahara leaned against the pillar of the gazebo, and looked at Kitty looking straight at her pink eyes.
Kitty didn't pay much attention to one of Mori's dog, she didn't even know his name. She sipped her tea and bit her chocolate cookies.
"I see, why Mori kept you. You are really a sight to behold.," Chuya said.
Kitty didn't pay much attention to Chuya, and silently sipped her tea.
Dazai joined the conversation and stood behind Kitty as she sat on the chair. He leaned closer to her and wrapped his arms around, he'd seen deep cut neckline of the dress and his eyes fixated on few seconds. His hands were squeezing her tightly around her shoulders making her cleavage more visible. It was sexy and seductive.
He noticed the necklace and whispered, "A new collar eh?"
"Suits you a lot.," Dazai said.
Chuya shot a look at Dazai and said, "You shouldn't torture a woman like this."
"A woman?," Dazai scoffed, "She's Mori's doll. Does it bother if I borrow his doll to play a little?"
Chuya sat opposite to kitty, "She's truly beautiful, I thought she'd been quite above average." Chuya was absolutely mesmerized by her beauty. There was something ethereal about her, he thought.
Kitty looked intimidatingly straight at Dazai's eyes. Dazai was seemingly amused, "Quite a transition, Kitty? From a doll to his dog?"
"Oh and you?," Kitty said, "What do you think what Mori thinks about you?"
"Mori thinks of me as his son.," he replied.
"Let me break your delusions.," Kitty said, "he thinks of you nothing more than his lap dog to wag his tail and roam around you."
"Barf barf.," she imitated, lifting her cup in the mid-air.
Dazai was deeply offended by her words. Though there had been some truth to her statement. He lifted himself and stood beside her, Kitty didn't care much about his actions.
Dazai took her cup from her hand and poured the hot tea on top of her head, making her completely wet. He let the cup clink down the table, the brittle cup broke shattering to pieces on the table.
Chuya was shocked, "Dazai..," he barked, "You are doing too much to her... remember She's Mori's woman."
"I am doing too less by port mafia standards.," Dazai said, without any guilt, "The amount of disrespect I have listen from her mouth she should have been dead by now."
Kitty was completely unhinged by the recent action. Her long silk raven hair still dripping from the tea.
She took one of the shattered pieces from the table and pointed the sharp objects against Dazai. He looked at her nonchalantly, she managed to bruise his neck a little, "You love this game too much. Don't you?"
Chuya was shocked to encounter such stand taken by Kitty who appeared feeble and brittle. Those actions were something that made her not only beautiful or Damsel in distress but shockingly strong.
Dazai took the cup's pieces from her hand, though it hurt not only his neck slightly but her palm too.
"Ah, kitty not only making trouble for others but herself too," Dazai said, placing the blood-stained pieces on the table, his smirk sharp enough to cut through the tension in the room.
Dazai was way too close to her, his lips just a mere inches away from her. She looked down at his lips, as if she was memorizinf every little curve of his lips. Mori had been very intimate with Kitty but she had never felt anything towards him. Something stirred within kitty. Some tantalizing desires for her bully.
Chuya was shocked at their Chemistry. Dazai eyes locked at Kitty too, it was an undeniable Chemistry whose effect was palpable even to Chuya.
"We have an audience too kitty?," Dazai looked at Chuya with smug expression. Dazai brushed her lips, staining it with blood. As he started to lean closer to her, she took a back step and looked at him with a questionable expression.
