"This is bullshit!" I screamed. My chest heaved with fury as I grabbed book after book, hurling them to the floor.
The crash of heavy tomes didn't satisfy the storm inside me. Hot, angry tears blurred my vision as I clawed at the neatly ordered shelves, sending everything tumbling to the ground.
"This cannot be my destiny!" I roared, my voice cracking.
When the room was a wreck, and I had no more strength left to destroy anything, I stormed out of the study. My footsteps echoed in the endless hallways, but I didn't care. I needed to escape.
By the time I stumbled outside, my body felt like it was shutting down. Cold sweat coated my skin, and my heart hammered painfully against my ribs. My vision spun wildly, the castle's surroundings turning into a distorted blur.
I pressed a trembling hand to my chest, gasping for air.
I am Blake. I am still here. I am not this... thing they say I am.
