The Greatest Evil

The smirk never left Liam’s face as he spoke. “I am planning something. I’m going to tear down the stupid Supernatual council, then heaven, and after that, I’ll go to hell and cause chaos... and you’re helping me.” A single tear traced down his cheek.

"Liam...' my voice came out softly, almost sympathetically.

“Don’t worry, I’m not selfish. You just fought for your freedom and got it. I won’t take that away yet.” With those words, he moved to leave.

“Wait.” I walked toward him. “What’s any of this got to do with me?” the sympathy left my tone.

He shrugged. “Nothing, except you owe me.”

“Liam...” My heart pounded deafeningly, fear crawling up my skin at his words. “There’s only one of you.”

“As long as I have you, I have a legion of war demons,” Liam asserted, locking eyes with me. “You belong to me, Blake. You’ll be there when I want you.”

Anger coursed through my veins, but I dared not express it, aware of my situation. Fear for my life gripped me.
