Leaving

Spring came and with her arrival Cherry received news. It seems he had to enlist in the army. All the boys were sad, especially Bishop who was his best friend.

Cherry was to leave the army in a few days and stay there for 2 years. I realized how hard it must have been for others to see him leaving, because they were used to each other. The two days passed quickly. In the morning Cherry checks his luggage again. Wanting to go to the bathroom, I heared a discussion between Cherry and Bishop.

Cherry : '' It will take two years ''

Bishop: '' How will we keep in touch? ''

Cherry : '' I'll find a way ''

Bishop: '' you are my best friend, it will be hard without you. ''

Bishop had actually started to cry. Then I decided to go back to the room.

Cherry and Bishop were crying like two children. They had to break up but they didn't want to. It seemed awful to me, after I realized it was more than a friendship, I think they were connected for life. Arriving in the room I realized that uniting them is more than a friendship. Remaining in thoughts, I didn't realize that someone knocked on the door.

Ken: '' Alice, come downstairs to say goodbye to Cherry ''

I: '' immediately ''

All the boys said goodbye to him. It was my turn to say goodbye. I hugged him and wished him health and to take care of him. He left and Bishop was crying badly. Then I turned back to Bishop and couldn't watch him like that and I huged him hard. The day was a bit hard, everyone was postponed. I stayed at my room and wrote.
