"I can drop you off before going to my apartment to freshen up" Richard said immediately I came into view

"Uh... You're still here?" I said in bewilderment

"In flesh" He laughed and passed me a cup of coffee. "It's strong. Can you handle it?"

"Huh?" I stared at him weirdly

"I mean the coffee" He laughed

"Right. Sorry, yes I think I can handle it strong" I took a sip

"You look good" He rinsed his empty mug and set it properly on the empty spot that was in my cup rack

"Seems like you now know your way around my abode" I smirked

"It's not big, it's not small. Very easy to figure out." He looked around.

"Okay. So my office or yours?" I asked setting down my mug

"For?" He picked up my mug and rinsed it in the sink too

"Finalizing everything so the event can finally take place next week" I clarified. "Thanks for washing that" I smiled

"Oh okay, still wanna get rid of me fast? My charms aren't working?" He smirked while cleaning his hand with a dry kitchen towel

"Is this what this nice attitude is all about?" I laughed

"Nahhh." He walked to meet me and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "Just showing you that I can be so many things. It all depends on me. But I just can't let myself be this." He brushed my cheek with his thumb

"Why?" I whispered

"Because cupcake, I'll fuck you up. And I don't want to do that to you but also you're like a magnet. I hope you're smart to get away from me" He smiled

"What if we're both fucked up" I asked

"Been in a relationship before?" He asked.

"In high school. Wasn't even serious.. we were just stupid" i laughed. "Since then, just flings"

"Then keep it that way until you find someone worth it. And use protections always" He pecked my forehead

"Then don't lead me on." I closed my eyes

"I sure won't. You'll always see that I can't be committed. Besides, I have a new fuck tonight. I guess her name is Victoria" He laughed.

"Disgusting" I laughed too

"Friends?" He smirked, raising my chin up

"I don't know yet. You'll have to earn it" I tapped his chin lightly with my Index finger.

"You mean all these love I've been showing you since yesterday didn't work?" He said, acting shocked.

"You'll have to do more than that, Blackwood" I laughed

"Should've said so since" He stilled my head and leaned in to plant a soft peck on my lips

"You moron!" I slapped his chest playfully

"Friends now? Or I should do more than that?" He smirked

"Get away from me idiot" i laughed harder than before

"Let's go, CEO" He tapped my ass and I arranged my dress properly and picked up my bag from the island before following him out.

"Can I duplicate this key?" He asked

"Why?" I asked, locking my door

"Just incase I need to see my friend." He winked

"Fine. Call me before barging into my house. I could be having sex"

"TMI" he opened the door for me and I thanked him before entering

"You tell me too much information and I don't complain" I said, once he entered the car

"Fair" He chuckled and drove off. "I'll call you before coming over then. But if I walk in on you having sex.. I'll join the gang" He turned to face me and I rolled my eyes

"Eyes on the road, Richard. Dirty asshole!" I shook my head

"Stop playing" I laughed

"Ouch" He laughed. "Get out of my car, heart breaker" He rolled his eyes

"Take care. See you today. Don't be late" I shut the door and waved at him

"Is that Blackwood!"

"Ahh!!!" I yelled and turned to face my best friend. "Hi Rebecca"

"Hi, whatever. Answer me"

"Are you four eyed?" I glared at her

"Then I'm sure you saw correctly and do not need my reply cos even if I said no, you'd still call me a..."

"Liar" She said, confirming what I was about to say

"See?! So whatever or whoever you think you saw, is what you saw" I rolled my eyes and entered into my office

"Another gift came in, ma'am" Brittany said

"How? But... Sorry when?" I asked

"This morning. Earlier"

"Thanks" I took it from her and gave it to Rebecca who smiled.

"I don't want to believe you now come to my office because of these gifts" I shut my door behind me

"So I'm seeing this guy. First date though. His name is Matthew"

"I'll be coming over to your house. Besides, the content of this box is a big blanket."

"And please, avoid my office."

"I'll try my best." I shut the door behind her and I just shook my head

Phone rings

"Hey friend! Received the blanket?" Richard asked

"What for?"

"Your blanket is small and I need mine when I'm staying over"

"Who said you can be coming over regularly? Especially to sleep over?"

"Me? Friends thingy? C'mon you like my company" He laughed

"I mean, Blackwoods company didn't do shit to me so why would I hate your company" I laug

"You play dirty! See ya around. Don't eat lunch. We'll go out to eat lunch after the meeting" He hung up leaving no room for arguments
