I hate to admit that Vanessa was right about she following us but it kinda looks so. This doesn't seem right, but what's more conflicting is how my heart races whenever I see her. I just couldn't help but stare at her yesterday. How did she disappear without any trace? 


The sound of my ringing phone snapped me out of my thought. I quickly scanned my office desk for the phone. 


"Ava" I said, immediately I clicked on the green button 


"Hi Brother. What is this nonsense am hearing about your ex?" Ava asked, getting straight to the point 


"News sure do fly fast, don't you agree with me?" 


"That doesn't answer my question though, Brother" Ava groaned. "Is the rumors true?" 


"Well, I wish I can lie about it but I know you got it from a verified source so yes, Sister" I mimicked the tone she used in calling me 'brother'.
