Richard's POV

I didn't want to be here but Paula I knew, wouldn't let me rest until we talked things out properly.

I was so clueless as to what to even do. I was frightened when a hand came knocking on my car window. I mentally rolled my eyes when my eyes connected with the bright bubbly ones.

What's she happy for?

"You're here!" Paula smiled when I brought down the glass.

"Like I have a damn choice" I muttered more to myself. I nodded at her, signaling her to move back so I could open the door. She did as I said, her smile never leaving her face

"Let's go inside" Paula said, leading the way. I stood there still contemplating if I should follow her or not.

This wasn't right but thinking about that night made me more guilty and I needed to clear things up. Worse shit is that I can't even remember what exactly transpired that night.

"Are you coming?" Paula said over her shoulder, her eyes trained on me. Reluctantly, I nodded before dragging my feet.
