"One of us needed to handle things overseas. I know you didn't miss me anyway" I glared at him.

Speaking of babe. I smiled when I remembered the surprise I got for Vanessa. I just hope she's ready for the next step of our life. 


"Why are you smiling?" Matthew poked my shoulder. 


"Huh?" I wiped the smile off my face immediately. "It's none of your business" 


"Damn right, it is. We're best friends" He followed me inside. 


"Bring my bags inside" I said to Mateo. "I can't tell you because you literally have no control when you speak to your girl. Can't risk it" 


"Don't." I blocked my ears, fastening my pace. 


"You got her a car?" He pulled my hand away from my ear. 


"You think that's what a CEO would need? A CEO who earned so well?" I scoffed, punching my code before entering into the house.
