The Devil's Gambit

As the bright light of the sun falls right through the window onto a man's eyes in his late 30s he quickly gets up he looks around in horror longing for something or someone his face is completely sweated he is still recovering from a horrible nightmare he just saw as he tries to forget about it his daughters jump on him waking him up with joy and fun both of his daughters are just 5 and full of hope and joy real pure souls. As the man gets to his breakfast table his wife and daughters bring a small cake and handmade gifts for him and today is his birthday, later he says farewell to his family and goes to his shop. He runs a large retail shop in the main market the man opens his shop and thank god for having such a perfect life, although little he know today was going to be much more unexpected as he ever could imagine in the night time as the man send off his last costumer he began to close the shop suddenly he hears his doorbell rings someone enters the shop without even looking at the door he calls out "we are close comeback tomorrow" and continues his work but he didn't hear a reply nor the door opening again thinking it as robbery he arms himself with a pump action short gun from under his table he aims his gun at the door and walks around the shop on guard, as he walks around the shop he hears a noise of something falling from height he turns and walk towards the noise as he cross a shelf a man in a trench coat and round hat jumps on him from side the mysterious man easily overpowered the shop owner, the mystery man then took the short gun from him and blew off his right leg with it as his leg blew into pieces the shop owner cries in agony the shop owner now on the ground trying to crawl away from the mysterious man but failed to do so the mystery man racks the gun and blew the other leg off of the shop owner, now it desperate pain the shop-owner beg the man for mercy cries for help and even tries to reason with him but nothing story the man , the man approaches him puts the shotgun in shop owners mouth and whispers in his ear "next time I walk through that door you better give the answers I want" somehow these words shocks the shop owner as he can think of anything the man pulls the trigger and spread paint the walls and floor with the shop owners brains, in a brief moment the light from the gun reflects the face of the mysterious man with turns out to be Mathew. In the mooring, the shop owner wakes up again scared and worried revealing it to be another nightmare the shop owner grabs his head thinking about what happened, who's the man, and what he wants just as all these questions worry him his daughter walking into the room wishing him a happy birthday as the day has restarted the shop owner however was not surprised by this he lives the day on as nothing had happened but just as the night falls and the last customer left the shop he began to shake again the doorbell rings Mathew enters the shop in same outfight as the previous night he walks towards the counter looks up on the owner and says "I assume you are willing to cooperate now…and no more bullshit" the shop owner agrees he answered every question Mathew ask him truthfully. Once Mathew had all his answers Mathew thanked the owner and left the shop as the owner took a deep breath in peace as it was all over now suddenly his desk phone rang which alarmed him, he picked up the phone and heard his daughter's voice "daddy"

BOOM!!!!!!!! The entire shop blows up killing the owner yet once again as the shop goes into flames Mathew watches him from a distance "Let this be a lesson to you for now." Soon the emergency services arrived Mathew fled the scene, and the next morning Oliver sent off his daughter to school, his wife to work and his son to bed. Later he relaxed on the couch as he closed his eyes visions from his past ran past his mind in those visions he saw the destruction of his old family the fighting, the crying, the blood and the screaming he heard multiple voices in his head "what are you doing son!", "I am sorry Father but this has to end", "Why are you doing this brother you are one of us", all that screaming suddenly stops as Oliver finds himself in a dark room all alone suddenly Dracula sneaks up on him Oliver quickly turns around and tries to attack on him but Dracula paralyzes him with just his gaze the Dracula then grabs him by his throat and says "you can't escape from me you can't undo what you did and surely you won't be able to stop what you are going to do". Just as Dracula says it, he opens his mouth wide and bites Oliver's face off this makes Oliver wake up he hears the sound of the telephone ringing Oliver reaches for the call and picks it up on the other side Mathew tells him "I think this one is kind of your family matter and something big is happening we need to go and go now", "where" Oliver asked "Transylvania"

Many centuries ago during the beginning of the world there was no walls or boundaries no limitations or restrictions the man and the monster walks among each other the good and the evil live side by side everywhere was peace and harmony but like every good thing this age has to come to an end and therefore the beginning of an all put war started between good and evil the god vs the devil the war lasted years , decades even centuries as the war lasted longer and longer the armies of both sided tend to show weaknesses their weapons started to chip and shatter as the god find it hard to win so he approaches the man a specific group of people who are expert blade smiths the god asked for their help and the man helped made the weapons even god fear to face with the help of the weapons the devil forfeit the war and ran away declaring God the winner after winning the war the god takes in the blade smiths as his followers and grant them with wealth and happiness in return the people offers the god with crops and weapons every year as a form of festival.

Centuries pass and the man becomes more and more evil and selfish one day a boy grows curious about the existence of their god and the offerings they give every year the boy spreads his word and everyone follows him resulting in no offerings being given to the god for 5 decades the god, however, founds this weird as he checks on them he found that the people are now worshipping the devil and giving him the offerings this made the god furious as a result god drive his wrath on his followers giving them all the natural disasters and illness, soon the followers find them self-helpless and decide to continue to give offerings but the boy from 5 decades presents another idea now they willingly worship the devil to give him the sacrifices in return of protection against the god, the devil agrees as this was his plan all along!

The devil possessed the boy and made people turn against their god when the god looked down on earth the devil puts an illusion to show the people worship him with god furious and now they are willing to worship him with the help of his new followers and their offerings the devil again wage war against god this time the evil won, defeating the god he declared himself the new god bit for offerings the devil requires human sacrifice, as the first new festival arrives people sacrifice one of their own to make devil happy but the sacrifice fails, turns out that before dying the god cursed the blade Smits that they will never die and upon dying one who passed away will live the whole day again and die over and over, again and again, making hell for them on earth.

This curse made their lives a living hell, although some villagers decide to run away from the village and start new lives believing this will prevent the cruse but it doesn't the curse passes on and on to break this curse the cursed person must kill himself but, on their tribe, subside is considered an act of cowardly and is forbidden so either they live forever cursed or die like a coward.

With a loud screech, Mathew stops the car who' been telling this entire story to Oliver on their way to the shop of the old man whom Mathew killed last night "So you are telling me that this man is cursed to live ageing the entire day of his death and somehow you manage to live with him so you keep on killing him until he breaks and talks" olive asked "yeo that's exactly how I get the info in just 1 day the curse that made his ancestors fled away made him spill the beans" Mathew replied, "so what are we doing here?" Oliver asked "Well since you are not transforming we might need weapons though" Mathew replied "Yeah you are right" Oliver replied, they both got out of the car as they were about to enter the shop Mathew asked him "What about your family?", "oh, I left her a no it's fine" Oliver replied, Mathew smiled and walked into the shop just as he entered the voice of the shop owner could be heard saying "Oh! Not you again!"

Later in Oliver's house as his wife enters the house, she sees Kelly playing with his son "Kelly? What are to doing here?" she asks Kelly walks towards her and hands her a note, "Oliver told me to give this to you I didn't open it though" as she walks always Oliver's wife took the note in the kitchen there, she opens the letter but it was empty then she pours some liquid on the letter with revels the letter.

"I have figured it out…going to take care of things…you guys are safe but the situation might get ugly be prepared." The note then burs on its own and a worried expression can be seen on his wife's face as she prays for his husband's safety.

Back in the manor

Dracula walks down a dark hall towards a big door as he approaches the room the door opens on its own inside there are all sorts of chemicals and containers it's like a big laboratory with different kinds of monsters trapped in a large container as Dracula make his way from between he sees baba Yaga working on some sort of project of hers as Dracula approaches her she sense the presence of Dracula, she takes off her equipment and attend him "it's nice of you to visit me down here my lord, but I may need more time before the final step" baba Yaga says, Dracula then holds her from behind on her shoulders and whispers on her ear "time is…what we don't have, I am expecting my brother to be here any moment now." Baba Yaga now a little intimidated by Dracula's gestures "I could do it either right or fast also how exactly do you plan to stop him" she replied, Dracula then turned her around holds her by her chin in a romantic way "I have the plan to break him but to do it I need your more help to consider it another favour.

Later from a far mountain Oliver and Mathew scout the castle, there they set up a small camp where they put out all their weapons and talk about a plan "So…what's the plan you have been there you might know some ways in" Mathew asked Oliver then points out at stop in the city map "yeah there is a way in from underground straight to the main hall if they still haven't blocked that one out." Oliver answered "Nice let's check that one out," says Mathew, As Mathew stood up to leave Oliver pulled up a bottle of alcohol "Wait up, don't want a good luck token?" Oliver calls out to Mathew while waving the bottle at him, Mathew is quite shocked to see this revelation from Oliver but now he knows he has his friend back he smiles and sits right back; Oliver opens the bottle and takes the first sip then he hands it over to Mathew who also took a sip as Mathew swallow his sip Oliver quickly spits out the alcohol "what the hell!?" Mathew exclaimed, suddenly he started feeling dizzy and fell on the ground "Sorry my friend but this isn't your fight." Oliver says to Mathew as his voice fades in Mathew's ears, Mathew falls unconscious Oliver drags him to safety and puts a protective spell around him, then he packs all his weapons and gets ready like a one-man army, later he uses the secret passage and enters to the main hall he circles the hall but it was all empty with no sound at all suddenly a voice breaks the quite "it seems you have completely forgotten our ways brother" Dracula's voice echoes, Oliver gets alerted and calls him back "so it is you! After all guess after all those years you have grown some balls taking over my place ordering around my servants, last time I checked you ran away with your tail in between when everything went to shit." Oliver replies mockingly, as he keeps on scanning, he room Dracula's voice again echo's "language brother!! It seems like living with that human has corrupted you…maybe I should kill her first" Dracula threatens him from beyond "Don't you dare…." Oliver replies in a serious tone, Suddenly while moving around the room Oliver bumped into something as he turned around to see what is it he saw Dracula standing there tall and stiff with his red eyes and evil smile, without any second thought Oliver aimed his shotgun at Dracula's head and blew his face off, as the smock and blood clears off Oliver sees Dracula still standing there with half of his face yet somehow unfazed "oh I'll dare." Dracula replies menacingly with half of his face and with all his might Dracula pushes Olive with his one hand sending him flying off crashing across 3 rooms and landing on the 4th, as Oliver recovers from the impact hundreds of mutant vampire block his way back to the Dracula without knowing who they are against with "guess a lot of things have changed" Oliver says and he preps himself for a fierce battle.

As Oliver fights his way onward, Dracula grows more and more excited by every minute, this all was just a fun game for Dracula but for Oliver, it's putting a toll on him as he kills one vampire 2 more jumps in he soon runs out of ammo so he switches to blades as they break he pulls out swords as they chip and shatters he relies upon his skills but soon his struggles paid their price Oliver manage to reach to the main hall again where Dracula is now sitting on a thrown right in the middle of the room, tired blood shocked Oliver looks at him with anger and lunges but to his bad luck it was a set up as he jumps to stab him 2 final staged mutants ambushed him and pinned him down "ha…. Ha…. ha, I knew these mutations are a good investment" Dracula exclaimed joyfully no matter how much Oliver tried but his human body just didn't build like to fight the mutated abominations "Now what!? You are going to kill me?" Oliver asked out loud while still struggling to get free, "Oh brother…I am not going to kill you…you know that what I am going to kill is this face mask you wear and pretend to be" Dracula replies menacingly, as Oliver tries to figure out what's going on a normal vampire brings a mirror in his hands as he reached to them Dracula took the mirror and placed it in front of Oliver "you think you could come down here and kill me without even know how to kill me! But I know how to kill your hell you didn't even deserve death you should know the pain the pain I have been through you will feel it too, now look" As Oliver looked into the mirror it showed him the events that were about to take place in his house a horde of ghouls surrounds his house read for an all-out attack "wait…. wait. Wait what you are doing!?" Oliver panics "Your world will fall right in front of your eyes…and there is nothing you can do to stop it!!!" Dracula speaks menacingly as he finishes his sentence the entire horde of ghouls charged at Oliver's house. "NOO!!!"
