Silver Shark Pirates, Viter

"Ha?"

Seeing that both Biggie and Kailar had such an attitude, Shanuo, who was holding the Lake Toya, immediately shot a sideways glance at them and, with a look of disdain, said:

"Hey, I say, you two old men, don't forget that you are both my defeated opponents. Is it really okay for you to act so confidently?"

"Is that so? Really stubborn, huh…"

Kailar shook his head with a smile, flicking the ash off his cigarette, and didn't say anything further. Instead, he turned his gaze to the pirate crew below and his eyes landed on the one-eyed man, lazily saying:

"Long time no see, One-Eye. I didn't expect that it's been a year, and your marksmanship is still as terrible as ever. Looks like losing that one eye didn't help you learn how to aim, huh?"

As soon as these words were spoken, the surrounding old men burst into laughter. Especially Biggie, who mimicked the one-eyed man's stunned expression after missing a shot, using his fingers to imitate the motion of firing into the air with a comical "Bang!" and laughed, "Ala, missed again!"

"Hmm?"

A cold gleam flashed in the one-eyed man's eyes, but this time, he first used his thumb to flip open the hammer and loaded a strange, dark-red bullet into his gun. Only then did he raise the gun and aim at Biggie, coldly saying:

"You bastard, how dare you make fun of me…"

However, just as he was halfway through pulling the trigger, a man, his entire body cloaked in a black windbreaker and a black top hat on his head, spoke calmly, stopping his action:

"Alright, One-Eye, that's enough with the testing."

The voice was calm, but the one-eyed man hesitated for only a brief moment before nodding and stepping back behind the black-clad man, putting away his handgun without showing any intention of arguing.

"Well, you're able to make him listen so easily? Who is this person…"

Kailar shifted his gaze from the one-eyed man to the black-clad man, a bit curious, and said, "By the way, where is your captain, 'Silver Shark' Chris? If he isn't around, I doubt you small fries would have the guts to block our way like this."

"If the Chris you're talking about is that old bastard in his fifties or sixties, then I regret to inform you that he's dead."

"After you defeated him a year ago, he soon died from scurvy. That old man was really an embarrassment to us pirates…"

The cold voice came from beneath the black windbreaker, and the man slowly raised his head, revealing his appearance, which had been hidden by the black top hat.

Young, handsome, with a delicate and charming aura, his blonde hair was meticulously combed, and behind his gold-framed glasses were eyes filled with a faint mockery, yet brimming with confidence.

"I am Chris Witte, the former apprentice crew member of the Silver Shark Pirate Group, and now, I am the captain."

As he spoke, the young man removed his top hat and slightly bowed to the people on the deck, smiling gently.

"Oh, also a Chris?"

Kailar blew out a smoke ring and looked at him, saying, "Since you managed to become captain, I guess you must be the old Chris's son? You really talk so disrespectfully about your own father."

"Well, rather than saying son, it's more accurate to call me a bastard."

The young man with gold-framed glasses didn't show any anger at all. Instead, he appeared quite interested in examining the crew members on the deck. He chuckled and said:

"However, no matter what, that old bastard was still my nominal father. Though I feel a bit sorry, since we've met, I can't just let you all off the hook."

With this speech, paired with Witte's handsome looks and demeanor, it was almost flawless. If there were outsiders, especially young women present, they would probably think Witte was a well-mannered nobleman and not a ruthless pirate.

Unfortunately, on the Tado pirate ship, there were only a bunch of scruffy old men. They silently watched Witte, and after a while, whispers started to spread.

"Such a show-off, a bit disgusting."

"Yeah, now that you mention it, it really is."

"He's so flamboyant, acting like he has the 'Face Fruit' or something."

"Hey, didn't Shanuo speak in some dialect? Is that from Andrik Island?"

"Face Fruit… What's that? Is there really such a Devil Fruit?"

The topic shifted in an odd direction.

Witte, who appeared to be indifferent, visibly twitched at the corners of his eyes.

Luckily, someone eventually broke the atmosphere.

"Ah-la-la-la-la, why are you guys talking so much? At this point, shouldn't we just get on with it and have a good fight?"

Biggie grinned widely, laughed out loud, then turned his attention to the pirates below. He immediately stepped onto the railing and leapt into the air. Before anyone could react, he had already jumped down ahead of everyone.

Bang!

When this two-meter-tall old man landed on the ground, there were visible cracks on the ground. Shanuo, standing on the deck, could even feel his body tremble slightly. He looked down instinctively and was surprised to see that Biggie was carrying a two-meter-long large nodachi.

"Damn, isn't that a sword like Whitebeard's? This old man is really tough…"

Shanuo's mouth twitched. It seemed that this was Biggie's real weapon. The wooden sword he used when sparring with him earlier was probably just a small toy in his eyes.

"This guy is really reckless…"

On the deck, Kailar helplessly extinguished the cigarette in his hand and said faintly, "Since that's the case, we'll go down too."

"Haha, I've been waiting for this!"

"Let's go, teach these bastards another lesson!"

The members of the Tado Pirate Group responded one after another, and then Shanuo saw that under Kailar's lead, nearly everyone stepped forward and nimbly flipped over the railing, jumping from the several-meter-high deck directly to the ground.

On the opposite side, the Silver Shark Pirate Group, under Witte's command, also started to regroup, preparing to face them in a standoff at a distance of about ten meters.

"All experts at ship-to-ship combat, huh…"

Watching their practiced movements, Shanuo felt a headache coming on as he estimated the height, then glanced at his small arms and legs. After hesitating for a moment, he finally stepped forward, deciding to jump to the shore first.

However, just at this moment, Kailar, as if having anticipated it, suddenly turned around and looked at his forward foot. He chuckled and said, "Hey, hey, hey, remember what I said, Shanuo, don't blame me for reporting you to Big Redfoot when he comes back."

"…"

Shanuo rolled his eyes. He really wanted to raise a middle finger to express his feelings, but under Kailar's watchful gaze, he silently withdrew his foot and watched helplessly as Kailar and Biggie led the old men into the fray, clashing with the Silver Shark Pirates.
