Po felt it before he even saw it—a surge in his Chi, violent and untamed.
He didn't hesitate. Turning to his wives, Tigress and Viper, he created a glowing construct out of pure golden Chi. It hovered in the air between them, pulsing gently."What's this?" Tigress asked, eyeing it warily."A way to talk to you no matter where I am." Po smirked. "I call it a Phone."Viper chuckled. "Po, you just created a new form of communication, and you're giving it such a simple name?"Po shrugged. "Eh, simplicity is genius."They were about to question him further, but the surge intensified.Po's vision blurred, and the next thing he knew—he was being pulled.Through the veil of existence, through the Spirit Realm, through realities he didn't even recognize. And then—darkness.
A New Form, A New PowerWhen Po awoke, he was… different. His body felt strange, lighter yet overflowing with power. He raised his hands and immediately noticed:No black-and-white fur.No panda-like paws.Instead, his hands were human—his fingers long, elegant, and powerful. He touched his face. Smooth skin. Sharp jawline. Then, he caught his reflection in a puddle nearby. He was no longer a panda. He was a tall, aristocratic-looking young man, somewhere in his early twenties. Obsidian-black hair with a single white strand in the front, slightly to the right. His eyes, once warm and goofy, now held an unnerving sharpness. His muscles were sculpted to perfection, his aura radiating raw, unfiltered strength.Po whistled. "Damn, I look good."Then it hit him. This world felt different. The air hummed with an energy he wasn't familiar with. Not Chi, not like before.Magic.He had felt this before—he knew this setting all too well.
"Oh, hell no."
He wasn't in China anymore. He was in Solo Leveling.
Location: Hapjeong Station (Green Key Dungeon)Po didn't have time to think too much. A presence nearby caught his attention.A young, frail-looking man moved carefully through a dark dungeon, sword in hand.Po's eyes widened slightly.Sung Jin-Woo.This was the dungeon. The Steelfanged Lycan dungeon with that Serpent as the Boss.Jin-Woo wasn't strong yet, still at the start of his journey. And Po?Po was already a monster. But as Po watched, he couldn't help but be impressed.Jin-Woo moved cautiously, calculating every step. His body was weak, but his mind was sharp. The moment a Steelfanged Lycan lunged at him—he reacted, cleaving it in half with Kim Sangshik's Steel Sword. It was a clean kill. A testament to his determination. That's when Po made his move.Jin-Woo froze as a presence appeared behind him.It was sudden. There was no sound, no warning.Just a man.Tall, broad-shouldered, exuding an aura so powerful that the very air felt heavy. His black hair flowed with the wind, that single white streak making him seem almost ethereal.Jin-Woo's instincts screamed at him. This man wasn't normal. He was strong. Insanely strong. If this guy was a Hunter, he wasn't just some A-Rank. He was above even S-Rank."Yo." Po grinned, his voice calm and confident. "Nice sword."Jin-Woo took an unconscious step back. "Who… are you?""Name's Po. No last name." The stranger smirked. His presence was suffocating. "Don't worry, I'm not your enemy. In fact…"Jin-Woo's system notification suddenly appeared.[You have received an item.][You have received (Full Recovery Potion) x5.][You have received (Reinforced Armor – Rank B).]Jin-Woo's eyes widened. What the hell?He quickly opened his inventory—and the items were there.Potions. Armor. The stranger—Po—had just given him items."W-What is this?" Jin-Woo asked."Consider it a little boost," Po said casually. "This is your test, right? Then let's make sure you actually survive."Jin-Woo had no idea what to think, but Po's presence wasn't hostile. And more importantly, this guy was too strong to say no to.They continued through the dungeon, slaughtering wolves left and right.Jin-Woo fought with strategy, striking with precision.Po?He barely moved. Every swing of his blade shattered the monsters like they were nothing.Jin-Woo stared. "You're… ridiculous."Po laughed. "I get that a lot."They kept going, Po watching Jin-Woo closely."You should keep fighting until the EXP gain slows," Po suggested. "Let's get you to level 20 first."Jin-Woo hesitated. "That high?""Trust me."And so they fought. Jin-Woo kept leveling up, pushing himself harder. And when he finally hit Level 20, something happened.A notification popped up.
[You have reached Level 20.][New Quest Reward: Bonus Stat Points.][You have received +5 Stat Points per Attribute.]
Jin-Woo's eyes widened. He checked his stats:
Strength: 40
Agility: 40
Sense: 40
Health: 40
Intelligence: 40
Po whistled. "Nice. You're finally getting somewhere."Jin-Woo looked down at his hands. He felt stronger.More alive. But what shocked him most—Po was gaining something too.Po's System EvolvesThe moment Jin-Woo's level increased, Po felt something change.A rush of energy—a foreign, strange power—entered his body. His own System appeared before him.
[You have absorbed foreign energy.][Your System is evolving.][Your System has merged with the Shadow Monarch's Prototype System.]
Po froze. And then he felt it. A pulse of dark energy.A small fragment of Jin-Woo's Black Heart. Not the one created artificially with Chi—the real thing. Po smirked. "Now this… this is interesting." He checked his stats.

AN: I dunno why, but I'm sorry If this feels a little too much like a wall of text, my Inkstone (the app I use to write) is buggy, please forgive me if it feels weird to read.
On another note, How do y'all like this, do you want to see a Duo of Shadow Monarchs (though Po is also the King of Dragons but more on that later...)
