Chapter 40: Analysing

Some couldn't let go of their obsession, while others were tied by their obligations.

"What should we do now?" Theodore muttered in a lost voice.

They have footage, but they were clueless like a headless fly.

Even with the footage, they can only prove work harassment. At most Amrk will have to pay a fine of $100 or at worst, he would end up in jail for a few days.

But that was it.

Other than that, Mark would walk free.

The thought was unbearable.

Lucas exhaled sharply, his mind racing. His grip on the desk tightened, and he glanced at his siblings, reading the same storm of emotions in their eyes.

A fine? A few days in jail? That wasn't justice. That wasn't enough.

Not for the years of humiliation. Not for the countless sacrifices their father had made to keep them safe and their family intact.
