He looked at the thugs with narrowed eyes and crossed his arms over his chest.
"I don't know who you guys are," Adam said in a firm voice.
"But if she doesn't want to go with you, she's not going anywhere."
The thug leader snorted. "Look, buddy, this ain't your business. Just step aside and hand her over."
Adam didn't move an inch. "I don't think so. You better leave before things get messy."
The second thug scoffed, trying to intimidate him. "Oh yeah? What are you gonna do? Fight all three of us?"
Adam smirked slightly. "If I have to. But trust me, you don't want to test me."
The thugs exchanged nervous glances.
Adam's confidence made them hesitate.
He looked strong, and his stance showed that he knew how to fight. The leader gritted his teeth, clicking his tongue in annoyance.
"Tch! Fine, you win today," he spat. "But don't think this is over!"
