Chapter 69: Evidence

Adam clenched his fists, his anger barely under control.

"Say one more word about my son, and you'll regret it, Gray."

Gray shrugged and leaned back in his chair, waiting for the judge to arrive.

Just then, the door of the room opened, and Sophia walked inside.

Gray Winston was stunned to see Sophia.

She was the top lawyer in New York, and her schedule was packed.

He tried to contact her, but her assistant told her that Sophia was busy.

He even offered to pay double, but the assistant insisted that Sophia was busy, so he could only give for the time being.

But what was she doing here?

Sophia walked in with confidence, her heels clicking against the floor.

She ignored Gray Winston and went straight to Adam and his family.

"Sorry for making you wait," she said, smiling a little.

Adam shook his head. "No, we're just glad you're here."
