Jasper sighed dramatically.
"Brother, brother… you really should have been more careful. Now look at the mess you've made.
If you don't want to compensate them, well… it seems the majority of these respectable businessmen will have no choice but to ban you. And we wouldn't want that, would we?"
The crowd murmured again.
Some of the businessmen, especially the ones desperate for funding, looked ready to push harder.
"Yeah! If you don't pay, we'll make sure you regret it!"
"$1 million is nothing for a Green! Just pay up!"
"Admit it, Eldest Young Master Green! You're just trying to get away with it!"
Alex's face was red with fury, his fists clenched at his sides. He knew Jasper had set this up.
"Then ban me! I don't need your investment at all."
Jasper as if sensing what he was hinting at chuckled,
"You mean you are here for Miss Dawn's investment, right?"
