Reunion

Being a normal human has several drawbacks in the wild, especially when you are sent to another world.

I was in the middle of the forest, who knew what hour it was, tired, and only nocturnal animals were making noises around us. I was still holding Violet in my arms. There was a faint smell of wet grass and dirt around me. Some of the trees were drying up already, showing the season we were at that moment.

I was looking at the sky and guiding me by the stars. I inspected them and made every effort to figure out where I was. I took my time while I was holding Violet. She was very light, by the way.

That is when it hit me.

I didn't even know how to guide myself with the stars on Earth! How was I supposed to know what direction to take?

Even though the moon was new, I could not see it anywhere.

I was lost.
