Year 785/El Dorado

As I pace about my newly designated war room in El Dorado on the cusp of the new year, I'm somewhat satisfied with what I've put together in my time so far. For the last year Cleopatra has filled me in on some of the missing pieces in my Human Knowledge while the Dwarves have made massive military strides.

First Cleopatra. Before my human recorded year 1, Cleopatra's year 3366, the world was at an advanced technological level on par with my own human 31st century as well as at just as much at constant war. They were honestly probably more advanced than we were. However, Alexander is a greedy but patient man. He has done the most human thing possible and restricts technology and even medicine for his chosen noble houses. She is unaware however what happened to cause the knowledge wipe.

"Perhaps it was us leaving?" Was all she could say about it.

That seems the most likely. She said they attempted to do what my people were planning and abandon the Earth for a fresh abundant paradise. However, it was a trap laid out by some people in hoods called Numerians. They trapped them in space somewhere before ultimately offering Alexander god hood to return and fight me. She didn't know anything else about them.

I don't like this.

Cleopatra's knowledge of Alexander's intentions was limited due to him trapping her inside a cryo pod for most of their return. When I asked why I learned Alexander used her for his pleasure then after stored her away again like a doll on a shelf. I regretted asking about it. Humans are terrible creatures; I saw it constantly in my own human life. They care not how their actions affect others they live for their own pleasures and desires, nothing more. Taking what they want, conquering those in their way. My black book from before was filled with similar stories.

Next the Dwarven technology. We have designed rifles and pistols that use a mana core supplied by internal mana reserves, so as long as they have mana, they have ammunition. This works perfectly for me to reform the Elves into the Rifle Mage platoon companies with their large mana pools. The Dwarves have smaller mana reserves and prefer the pistols which require far less to fire. However instead of a tank they have developed a rather interesting idea, they call it Golem Armor, it is essentially plated power armor that uses the same philosophy as the guns but with a much larger main mana core. It has the added benefit of requiring very little mana to operate once fully charged and can last a week on a single charge. It also has secondary cores that store mana to fire condensed mana blasts from the palms of the gauntlets. They aren't Elemental and closer mimic a psionic burst strong enough to blast a hole through a wall.

Lastly the Captain, he honestly had more current affair information than Cleopatra. Since he became my soldier and his ship rides on Calypso's back I can teleport to him freely now. According to the Captain Alexander is in a mad rage currently looking for his sister. To add to his stress the Captain has become the Admiral by overwhelming Alexander's shipping routes with undead. The undead captains under his command aren't exactly geniuses, but they can steer and follow the Admiral well enough with Calypso's help. Alexander hasn't realized what's been going on and is questioning his inner circle of rebellion and theft. While we've added five ships full of undead soldiers to our ranks from his losses.

In the beginning for each of Alexander's most trusted Generals he gave a Kingdom and named it after them. During their rule of the first fifty years everything was going according to plan aside from the defection of Aristotle's school of followers. They disagreed with acknowledging Alexander as a true god and fled to the inner Aegean Islands. Alexander's next stumble came when the Princes of his Kings all contested for their thrones after their fathers passed away. Ten more years he spent squashing rebellions and deciding the rightful kings. Alexander eventually solved this by decree saying he would decide all heirs eternally as God. This led to a rocky and hostile peace after.

Alexander managed to have children. He learned quickly breeding now was rare for him, however when it succeeded it created Godlike beings of myth and legend. He couldn't bear many children, but he bore four sons and one daughter, and between the sons he split his soldiers evenly. In Rome, Dionysius was given command of the Imperial Guard and charged with defense of the homeland, he was the oldest at fifty-eight. From the island of Crete Poseidon, forty-two, commands the Imperial Navy. Apollo, twenty-nine, commands an unknown Imperial Armored Calvary of some kind in Sicily. Command of Sparta which is the training grounds and home of the Imperial Armored Infantry was given to Ares, twenty-one. Lastly in Alexandria, old Constantinople, a grand new temple was built for his newly turned sixteen-year-old daughter Aphrodite. Aphrodite being of great beauty and adornment was loved by the people and named Oracle of God. He recreated his own core of the Greek Pantheon and with it the hearts of his people were won for the most part. I got to hand it to him it was smart.

The Imperial Navy is situated in Crete and would have been protected on all sides from me by the land if not for the Admiral. Now their control of each of the canal passes is pointless and mostly the Imperial Navy just chases the Admiral and his undead ships around before losing them in Calypso's storms. I want rumors to spread all throughout the land of the undead ships, so I leave most of the Imperial Navy intact for now to spread the tales.

Cleopatra has informed me that even though Alexander has kept the technology limited he has the capacity for much more within Atlantis. The colony ship functions as a moving city for Alexander, but he keeps it near Alexandria. From what she has told me the Armored Calvary are probably advanced hover tanks beyond what my humans ever had. We ultimately stopped using tanks after World War IV. They were replaced completely by the Air Force. Aircraft became so advanced land vehicles couldn't keep up, so it became abandoned technology. However advanced propulsion engines are still a little out of reach for the Dwarves. I have the DaVinci Company working on it, but they've hit a wall for the time being.

From what Cleopatra saw most of his soldiers were outfitted with advanced weaponry and armor from their time period. Alexander has no knowledge about my people, our land, tech, nothing beyond that we exist out here. He is unaware that I know of his existence yet as well as his human garbage's existence. I plan to keep it that way for now while I train and advance the Fae.

I'm tired of them being called fairies but they aren't men so Fae it is. My people may be Elves and Dwarves, but they aren't like the fairy tale versions humans know. They aren't dainty little fairies who can be stomped on for their pleasure. They have only known peace, but they have diligently trained for hundreds of years inside the Dungeons. Through which they've learned tactics and how to work together under command of a party leader in small groups against ever growing odds. My army will consist of platoons, five Fae each structured the same way. Every platoon specialized for maximum damage with minimal risk.

Until now all my children have only known me as Father but soon this world be reminded that I am still General Julius Draken. My humans once called me the Mad Dog, now these humans call me a Mad God, either way they are going to regret making me angry. I spent my entire adult life killing humans in the name of a country that did not love me and a God's name I never believed in. These humans will not hurt my children whom I love dearly or this world I have created. I will show them a Mad God's wrath. My undead own the Aegean Sea now and Vampires stalk their city streets. I will give the humans nightmares they've never truly known before, only feared in the mind that they might bump in the night.

Cleopatra will leave soon to form her coven of sister. If she shares her blood the curse and magic will be shared with its consumption. Her magic is dark sacrificial blood magic. Since humans do not naturally have mana circuits the ring forcefully circulates mana through her body fusing it with her blood. Her coven sisters won't be as powerful as she is but by drinking her blood a similar process will happen within them. Each must sacrifice a human wicked of heart at every full moon, any who fail to do so become powerless until the next ritual.

Nothing stirs up trouble quite as fast as internal conflict. I'll send these three plagues of mine upon the humans while we continue to advance ourselves in the background. Eventually Alexander will realize it is me but until he does, I have the advantage here and I don't plan on giving it up any time soon.

The thing that worries me the more than Alexander is the Numerians. I feel it safe to assume they are the Watchers, and this is their game I'm playing. I don't really want to be a puppet lead upon a string for some unknown purpose. Are they good? Are they evil? Does it really matter either way? I don't know anything about them. I doubt they are anything near human underneath those robes. They are obviously powerful enough to alter space-time and that's a whole other scary. This could all be some artificial matrix they could turn off at any time for all I know.

It makes me wonder, am I even real? Is any of this?

As I look at the newly completed world map in front of me, I feel they are valid questions. Even if none of this is real and it's some simulation, I don't want to let it go. It may just be the human in me, but I feel I already won this planet fair and square.

That means it's mine now! and as I just think those words while slamming my fist on the table before me it makes me nauseous at just how human I really still am.

I hate humans so much and yet I forget I too was once human. I always thought myself better than other humans because I never abused others or killed maliciously or for fun. Most of my evil acts I committed were just following someone else's orders until I destroyed the world. That one was on me I gladly claim that cleansing but even then, I felt it more a mercy. All those humans were destined to die at the hands of some war eventually. I just sped up the process and stopped the Watchers from whatever their planned intention for us was.

I think eventually I'll steal the Atlantis and see these Numerians myself. If it got Alexander there once I'm sure it can get me there again. Still there is much war that will come first and that is a long way off from now.

For now, we will see how Cleopatra's coven does in the Antigonid Isles kingdom. I've instructed her to attempt to claim it for herself under my banner. It is the furthest point from the capital and the hardest to defend since it sits outside the rest of the continent. If I can take it, it'll serve as a better launching base for my military operations in the future. Soon it'll be the Eldarian Fae Alliance versus the Macedonian Empire in all-out war.

As far as Nicholas, I simply told him, "Turn the human world into your playground. Just have as much fun as you want and try not to die."

Then I had the Admiral unleash him in London a few months ago. I hope he makes some new friends there. I begin laughing almost manically. I imagine I would look rather sinister right now to anyone who may come along. I better cut it out before my children get weird ideas in their heads.
