Camelia sat next to the bed where Atherion was sleeping soundly. Severus was seated on the sofa in Atherion's bedroom, reading a thick book.
The door, which was not fully closed, was suddenly pushed open by the King, who entered the room, followed by a female servant.
The King walked straight to the bedside and, in a low voice, asked Camelia, "How is he?"
"He's fine, Father. He'll recover fully in a few days," Camelia whispered, standing by her father's side.
The female servant who had entered earlier approached the flower vase and began placing roses she had just picked. She deliberately moved slowly as she arranged the flowers.
Severus observed the servant with narrowed eyes, slightly suspicious as to why she was taking so long. Normally, servants would finish their tasks quickly and leave.
"Ahem…" Severus cleared his throat and walked to the other side of the bed, passing by the servant.
