dream world

The young gods, over time, adapted to their own existence. They separated the heavens and the earth, creating a divine realm for themselves and giving rise to the underworld. This marked the beginning of the Age of Gods. Resources were so abundant that modern humans could scarcely imagine it. Various mythical species roamed the earth. Among these mythical beings, dragons were the strongest, representing the pinnacle of mythical power. Ether, like oxygen, was omnipresent. The Sumerian gods ruled over Mesopotamia. In the beginning, they lived in peace and harmony with one another, until they began to war for power. The entire heavens and earth became their battlefield. Mountains crumbled, and rivers dried up. This war lasted a thousand years, until Anu was crowned as the king of the gods.

The gods who did not accept Anu's rule were exiled to the underworld and sealed away by Anu as punishment. Shikama Doji watched with amusement as the innocent gods transformed into prideful and tyrannical beings. Time passed like lightning, and ten thousand years later, Ereshkigal and Ishtar were born. Ishtar was beloved among the gods from the day of her birth, while Ereshkigal, due to her connection to the underworld, was despised. She was known as the goddess of the underworld and was given the responsibility of ruling it by her father, which only deepened the hatred towards her. As the goddess of the underworld, she could not come to the earth. In contrast, Ishtar, as the goddess of war and love, was adored everywhere.

What did Shikama Doji do? He watched all these events unfold with amusement. Like the gods, he created a separate realm for himself and Tiamat, a small world known as the World of Illusion. In this dimension, Shikama Doji held absolute power, much like wizards in their own domains, but he was far stronger. Here, he was omnipotent. Unfortunately, he could not move the Tower of Babel, and the tower remained in reality like a statue. He cast various illusionary spells on the tower, so that even if a major god passed by, they would not notice its existence.

During this time, Shikama Doji continued his experiments as always, making significant progress. He began creating Noble Phantasms. He faced many failures, but over time, he improved. He created many masterpieces, such as the Sword of Salvation. This sword embodied the concepts of [Hope], [Justice], and [Victory] and was considered a Noble Phantasm of A+++ rank. Its power doubled against evil. He created hundreds of such Noble Phantasms and scattered them across the world, but as always, he left a kind of corruption on them.

As time passed, Shikama Doji's humanity eroded further. He reached a state of indifference towards beings inferior to himself. Perhaps it was the arrogance of a superior being, or the pride of a powerful entity. If he had once been ruthless, he now became indifferent. Perhaps he saw all of life as a game and himself as a player in it. During this period, he made great strides in the field of curses. He created curses that were akin to miracles.

His power grew more and more, to the point where he was approaching the level of Tiamat. During this time, the Grimoire 999 became more complete, its pages filling up. In the World of Illusion, various mythical species lived. Some of these mythical beings preferred to live here rather than in reality. The World of Illusion had become a place that was neither entirely like the real world nor entirely like a dream, but rather a world that existed on the boundary between dream and reality.

Most of the mythical species living in the World of Illusion were fairies. The concentration of ether in this world was so high that ordinary animals could not survive here, and only mythical beings could endure and thrive in this environment. Ether, like oxygen, flowed everywhere, but its density was such that only mythical creatures could tolerate and benefit from it. This world, with its fantastical and mysterious beauty, was uninhabitable for ordinary beings.

In this world, fairies and other mythical beings lived lives full of magic and mystery. They dwelled among forests filled with dancing lights and rivers flowing with pure ether. Every corner of this world was filled with wonders that could only exist in the mind of a dreamer. Shikama Doji, with his infinite power, had turned this world into a place where dreams and reality intertwined, and the boundary between them had almost vanished.
