Somewhere in the deep void of space, beyond Knowhere.
Two figures silently observed the events unfolding below.
A shadowy figure, shrouded in darkness, spoke, "So this is your plan? Just handing over the Reality Stone to him?"
Standing beside him was The Collector, his signature punk-style white hair glowing faintly under the cosmic light. Watching Thanos revel in his victory, he smiled.
"Yes, this is my plan."
The shadowy figure asked again, "What exactly did you see through the Reality Stone?"
The Collector replied with a smirk, "Through the Reality Stone? I saw… 'reality' itself."
"Hmm?"
—
In a distant star system…
A slender figure, enveloped in a mysterious energy, was soaring through space at near-light speed.
Suddenly, she slowed down, coming to a sudden stop, hovering in the cosmic void.
"Who's there?!"
Her consciousness expanded outward, probing in the direction of the disturbance.
But there was no response.
Captain Marvel's expression turned cold. Clenching her fists, her body turned into a streak of light, and she rushed toward the source at breakneck speed.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Small asteroids exploded into dust as she tore through space.
Then, at last—she saw the enemy.
It was a woman.
She had pale blue skin and wore a silver hooded cloak draped over a sleek uniform. Right now, her expression showed a mix of shock and fear as she stared at Captain Marvel.
"Who are you?" Captain Marvel stopped abruptly, confronting the woman.
She had sensed hostility from this direction, which was why she had diverted her course.
And from the current situation, it was clear—the hostility came from this woman.
But Captain Marvel didn't recognize her.
The woman gritted her teeth. A sudden wave of strange energy rippled toward Captain Marvel.
For a brief moment, Captain Marvel felt a faint pressure on her mind.
But with her immense resistance to psychic attacks, she shook off the influence almost instantly.
Her brows furrowed slightly. "You actually tried to control me?"
Then, as realization dawned, her eyes narrowed. "You must be one of Thanos' subordinates. And the chaos in the Beta-35 System—that was your doing, wasn't it?"
Supergiant's face twisted with frustration. "I refuse to believe the gap between us is this vast!"
With a snarl, she unleashed a torrent of psychic energy toward Captain Marvel, crashing down like a raging storm.
"If you're an enemy, then I'll just have to kill you."
This time, fully prepared, Captain Marvel ignored the mental assault completely.
Her fist clenched, power surging through her veins.
Captain Marvel had never been one to show mercy.
Her sheer strength granted her the absolute confidence to crush any opposition.
And with Earth in danger, she had neither the patience nor the interest to waste time interrogating this unknown enemy.
In the next instant—she vanished.
A blazing streak of energy tore through the void, and in the blink of an eye, she reappeared directly in front of Supergiant.
BZZT—
But suddenly—the space behind Supergiant rippled.
A towering, muscular figure emerged from the portal.
Facing Captain Marvel's devastating blow—a strike powerful enough to shatter an entire planet—he merely raised his Infinity Gauntlet-clad hand.
The Power Stone embedded in the gauntlet flared to life.
BOOM!
Their fists collided with tremendous force.
A massive shockwave erupted outward, obliterating nearby debris, asteroids, and even small planets at the point of impact.
Captain Marvel withdrew her fist, her gaze fixed on the massive, purple-skinned, grim-faced titan before her.
"Thanos."
Thanos returned her gaze with eerie calm, though his words carried a subtle threat.
"Carol Danvers, of Earth. Stay out of my way."
But deep inside, he was anything but calm.
He had struck her with a blow amplified by the Power Stone, yet she had not even flinched!
Just how powerful was she?
Captain Marvel's brows furrowed as she snapped back, "Your actions are a direct violation of the natural laws of the universe. And you expect me to stand by and do nothing?"
Thanos scoffed, his tone dripping with disdain.
"Do you see yourself as the guardian of nature? How ironic. Let me tell you this—I am the one ensuring the balance of the universe. Anything or anyone that threatens this balance… will cease to exist. And in doing so, this universe will finally attain perfection."
Captain Marvel's eyes burned with fury.
"Save your twisted lies for your lackeys!"
With that, she lunged at Thanos with blinding speed.
But just as she closed in—
Thanos clenched his fist.
Behind him and Supergiant, a rapidly contracting portal opened.
Before Captain Marvel's punch could land, the portal swallowed them whole.
Her attack smashed through empty space, reducing a cluster of asteroids to dust.
Captain Marvel gritted her teeth.
She recognized this power—it was the work of the Infinity Stones.
Her gaze darkened as she recalled the three glowing gems on Thanos' gauntlet.
There was no time to waste.
Without hesitation, she turned and blasted off at full speed, racing toward the stargate leading back to the Solar System.
—
Meanwhile, Thanos had successfully retrieved Supergiant, assigning her to replace Ebony Maw in his grand scheme.
His next target—Earth.
There, he would claim the final two Infinity Stones.
But before that, he had another move to play.
He returned to Knowhere, using the Reality Stone to craft a deadly trap, waiting for his prey to take the bait.
Unaware of the impending catastrophe, Star-Lord and his team were still en route, oblivious to the disastrous fate that awaited them.

On Earth
With Thanos' forces temporarily withdrawn, Earth had returned to a deceptive peace.
Everyone knew—this was merely the calm before the storm.
The next day.
Inside a training chamber in Wakanda, Peter was familiarizing himself with his nano Vibranium Spider-Suit.
In another room, Captain America and Black Panther were sparring, refining their combat techniques.
Meanwhile, Iron Man and Vision worked together at Avengers HQ, deploying a large-scale transport aircraft loaded with newly developed war machines for the coming battle.
Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the others were each occupied with their own preparations, bracing for the inevitable war.
But among all of them, Peter was most excited about Wanda.
As Marvel's legendary Scarlet Witch, Wanda was still inexperienced in the use of her magical abilities.
In her current state, she was nowhere near the power level of her alternate self in Doctor Strange 2.
However, her raw Chaos Magic was undeniably potent, placing her among the top-tier fighters.
That morning, Peter had casually joked with Doctor Strange about an idea.
Although Captain Marvel wouldn't make it back in time, they still had another way to win the war—training Wanda to master her Chaos Magic.
With Ebony Maw gone, the duo of Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch could become a game-changing force in the final battle.
Their combined strength might just be the key to defeating Thanos.
