Amidst the numerous Leviathan motherships, a few uniquely designed Q-type ships stood out.
These Q-type ships were exclusive to the high-ranking generals of the Black Order.
Standing at an impressive height of 240 meters from the tip of its ramming prow to its peak, the Q-type ship utilized a magnetic flywheel propulsion system that ran through its entire ring-shaped body. It was also equipped with an Alcubierre warp engine, enabling it to travel rapidly across interstellar distances.
The most significant advantage of the Q-type ship lay in its incredibly simple control system—so much so that a single individual could operate it (like how Ebony Maw piloted one alone in the movie, only to foolishly get himself killed).
However, the ship had no offensive capabilities and carried no weapons.
Its sole purpose in warfare was to deploy Obelisk landing pods.
Each Q-type ship carried five such pods, each stocked with five thousand Dark Acolytes and resources sufficient to temporarily create an additional fifty thousand.
Additionally, these Obelisk landing pods could be launched from orbit, using a planet's gravity to enhance their kinetic impact.
Beyond that, the ship's tractor beam allowed for rapid personnel and supply transportation.
At this moment, four Q-type ships corresponded to the four generals of the Black Order: Supergiant, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, and Black Dwarf.
But they were not alone on these ships.
A group of Chitauri operatives was busily maneuvering through the ships, handling operations.
On a floating throne,
Thanos sat imposingly, one hand resting on his chin as he gazed upon the blue planet before him. His voice was calm but commanding:
"Conquer all nations. Force them to surrender the stones. If they refuse—wipe this planet out."
"Yes!"
Countless Chitauri warships descended toward Earth.
Wakanda.
Whoosh!
A portal opened in front of Peter.
Doctor Strange, Wanda, and Vision stepped out.
The moment Strange saw Peter, he spoke urgently:
"Thanos' Black Order is approaching Earth. There may have been a flaw in our plan."
Peter's brows furrowed deeply.
He couldn't understand how things had escalated to this point.
The power Thanos displayed was far beyond anything seen in the movies—dozens of times stronger!
This wasn't an "Infinity War."
This was a high-dimensional civilization crushing a lower-dimensional one in an overwhelming invasion!
Peter looked at Strange with doubt.
"So, Doctor… what's your plan?"
What puzzled him even more was—why was Doctor Strange seeking him out at this moment?
Sure, Peter was powerful now. With Spider-Man's abilities and a Vibranium suit, he had risen to the upper echelon of superheroes.
But was he supposed to turn the tide of an interstellar war on his own? That was asking way too much!
He couldn't even influence the battlefield in front of him, let alone the entire war!
Wait a minute—
A realization struck Peter.
Doctor Strange wasn't here to ask him to fight…
Was he here to make Peter snap his fingers?!
No way!
Was this really mandatory?
Couldn't they get Hulk?
Or maybe Thor?
Peter shot Strange a questioning glance.
Strange nodded firmly.
Then, without hesitation, Strange extended his hands and handed Peter two objects.
One was the Eye of Agamotto.
The other was a bracelet-like device.
Vision explained, "This is a containment device I had Princess Shuri create—it holds the Mind Stone."
Before Peter could protest, Strange shoved both items into his arms and spoke quickly:
"There's no time to explain. You already know what needs to be done. So let's begin!"
Peter slowly raised a question mark in his mind.
Meanwhile, Doctor Strange had already begun his actions without further explanation.
With swift hand movements, he rapidly formed intricate seals in front of him. Then, with a forceful tearing motion, he pulled at the very fabric of space.
Beside him, Wanda mirrored his actions, her hands glowing with crimson energy, reinforcing the magic Doctor Strange was casting.
Crack... Crack... BOOM!
As their powers merged, the pressure on the surrounding space intensified until, at a certain point, it could no longer withstand the strain—shattering completely.
A chaotic realm unfolded before them.
Maintaining the rift with both hands, Doctor Strange turned to Peter, who still looked utterly bewildered, and said,
"There is a temporal coordinate embedded in the Eye of Agamotto. Remember—no matter how long you spend in another world, when you return, use this coordinate. It will bring you back to this exact moment. The future of this world now rests entirely in your hands!"
"Wait a minute!" Peter's eyes widened. "So this… this is what you saw back then?"
Doctor Strange raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What else would it be?"
For a moment, the two stared at each other, both realizing they had misunderstood something.
But this was no time to dwell on it.
Peter finally grasped what Doctor Strange was getting at.
Because Thanos in this world had been strengthened to an absurd, almost mythical degree, their current power wasn't nearly enough to secure victory.
But there was one variable.
Peter.
Unlike anyone else, Peter had the ability to travel freely between worlds. And according to Doctor Strange's observations, his method of traveling was a lawful action.
In other words, as long as Peter acted within his own nature, no matter how significant the changes he brought to this world, they would become part of its true history rather than a catastrophic alteration that would lead to its destruction.
That was the key reason Doctor Strange placed his faith in Peter.
He was a lawful time-space traveler.
"Activate that unique power of yours," Strange continued. "Once you do, you'll be able to sense the time-space tunnel. Focus your strongest will upon it, and the gateway to the corresponding world will open before you."
Just as Peter was about to step into the Chaos Gate, Doctor Strange spoke once more.
Peter nodded.
Retracting his nanotech Vibranium Spider Suit, he let the Eye of Agamotto hang around his neck while securing the bracelet containing the Mind Stone around his wrist. Then, without hesitation, he stepped into the Chaos Gate.
Hummm...
A soft resonance echoed.
Then, the world fell into absolute silence.
Sound, air, light, time, space—everything lost its original meaning here.
Peter took a deep breath—only to feel an inexplicable sense of comfort, as though a fish had been returned to the sea.
Quantum energy surged into his body in an endless flow, replenishing everything he had previously expended.
Once he felt fully restored, Peter looked around.
Because of the time-space coordinate embedded in the Eye of Agamotto, he wasn't in a rush. No matter how long he stayed here, he could always return to the exact moment he left.
Gazing at the vast quantum realm around him, a sense of curiosity stirred within him.
An urge to explore.
However, the moment he reached out to touch what seemed to be the boundary of this quantum space—
His Spider-Sense exploded in intensity.
A sudden, overwhelming warning.
The sheer force of it was so extreme that his head throbbed in excruciating pain!
"What the hell is happening?!"
