CHAPTER ELEVEN
Isaac's POV
"What the hell!" She quickly pulled back and held onto the tree next to her. "Why would you suddenly show up?"
"You weren't going to talk to me. I figured out that I did something awfully bad. I'm sorry for referring to you as the red haired lady. How can I make it up to you?"
"I don't know you, man, and I am not offended. I really didn't want to come along with Isabella but it's fine. You can leave now."
"Prove it to me that you're not offended." I pressed further and she let out a long breath.
"Please leave this place. It's sacred." She said.
"I know that you're a witch and you need those herbs to cast a spell. Do better when trying to hide from me next time." I said. A satisfactory smirk crossed my lips and she felt anxious about my exposition.
"Witches live around. I am not an exception. I will speak with you sometimes later but I don't like you being around me now. You're a threat to my existence." She said.
"Vampires don't hate witches. Do they?"
"Vampires?" She turned to ask again.
"It seems like I'm the only brilliant one here." I said and whooshed to the corner in a close distance. I did the same thing and returned to where I was standing.
"I'm not afraid of you. Mission failed. I will make your head spin and you will beg me to stop. To avoid that, turn around and leave. I will report this to Isabella and let her speak with her new friend to send you away from this place." She said and I felt a sudden disgust at the way she regarded me. I wasn't an easy going vampire, but I decided to let it slide.
Her beauty has caught me off guard and that was enough reason to pacify whatever resentment I held towards her.
I whooshed away from where she was and started walking back to my brother's large building surrounded by shrubs and little forest. If I wasn't a kind person, I could burn down the house and force him to live in somewhere more presentable.
The fact that he felt so happy to see Isabella walk into this large but useless building, annoyed me. Every girl deserved to be treated to nice places. It reminded me of how obsessed he was with Elena. He had once threatened to gouge out my eyes if I spoke ill of Elena.
Even though many people didn't know what happened to Elena, we both did. I wasn't around when it happened but he trusted me enough to keep his secrets with me. He sucked life out of her body and tried to cover up for his own crime. He couldn't and he had to run away. I couldn't stay back in the vampire realm even though it was where I called home. I had to leave as well, but I didn't come to the same place he came to.
I was scared of how to cope with a depressed criminal every single now and then. And I knew he was going to stay far away from blood and might teach me to survive without drinking human blood, directly from the source.
This was the outskirts of the town and it was much more livelier than some other areas in Willow Creek. Cars moved in the streets and people have fun in their various houses and I knew there would be a problem if I was caught severing the head of a human just to fulfil my thirst.
"Hello." I saw someone waving at me. My eyes moved to that direction and I was shocked to see that it was the same girl that my brother invited over to his place. I did him the honors and quickly went to greet her appropriately.
"Hello, how are you doing? Thank you for coming over to see my brother last night. He needed to see a friend. And you filled the gap." I tried to make her feel important but she grinned and chose another topic.
"Did you, by any chance, see my friend board a taxi?" She asked with a light-hearted tone. She was asking about Sienna. I began to believe that she didn't know that Sienna was a witch and needed herbs, at some point in her life, to cast spells and to perform rituals.
"I don't know where she currently is. I didn't cross her paths. Do you need to see her urgently?" I asked and she nodded her head calmly.
"She will be in your room in the next ten minutes." I said. She smiled at the way I predicted the time. She shut the door and I walked away from the doorstep. I had actually seen Sienna coming up from the forest. She seemed exhausted from getting the herbs or maybe she's cast the spell already in the woods in order to make sure her powers remain hidden from Isabella, if she was truly hiding them.
I suppressed a scream as soon as I ran into Sienna. She was muttering some words in foreign language while her hands were stretched forth in rage towards me. She did that until she was able to walk away. My head spinned throughout and I couldn't even see or hear well.
"You should be careful of her. What are you doing?" Noah suddenly asked, standing right behind me.
"Oh, good old days," I replied in my archaic voice, "The days when the vampire King will come to the rescue of one of his subjects after vigorously having sex with his beloved."
"Focus on the present. Why would you meddle with the witch? You told me she was one. Why will you play with fire after realizing that it is fire?"
"Because I love to take risks. And until this act of mine takes my life, I will continue to take risks." I replied with a smirk. As I stared at Sienna entering Isabella's cottage, the smirk on my lips grew larger and I smacked my lips.
"She's hOTTT," I stated and repeated it till Noah asked me to stop.
"I heard you screaming. You know you can get me in trouble." Noah said concernedly and I pulled him into a quick hug.
"Sorry about that, brother, but I can't keep staying inside like some sort of furniture. I need to be in the midst of people. Is there no party program coming up? I am simply tired of your boring routine." I said and sighed frustratedly to exaggerate my concerns.
"You haven't even spent a day." Noah said. "I am inviting Isabelle again tonight and she's willing to come. I will make sure that her friend doesn't come along with her. She knows that I am a vampire and I'm sure you must have flirted on being a vampire, as well."
"You know me too well to resort to guessing. You should state the points without any hesitation." I smirked.
"Sienna will leave here cottage tonight. She jus told Isabella about it." He said and I laughed it off.
"Come on, Noah, that's scary. How do you expect her to react when you say that? Her cottage is very far from where we are standing."
"You didn't hear them say that simply because you didn't pay attention. We will have a batter time with Isabella tonight but please make sure you don't display anything vampiric to her tonight."
"Tonight? Nope. Tonight will be too soon for that." I said, but he pulled me back.
"Promise me not to spoil the show." He looked into my eyes and requested. "Please."
"Make sure to keep your bottles of beer away from sight. She's not a fool. You don't eat the normal human food. Just beer and beer and wine. The bottles have filled one of your big rooms. She makes pizza, I heard her say that when you were discussing with each other the last time she came. She offered to give you pizza but you refused to collect it because you thought there could be garlics in there..." I said and laughter came up to my throat. "Creepy boy."
"I'm not creepy." He disagreed and whooshed to his house. I arrived at the doorstep before he did and smirked once more.
"Show me that respect, brother. You are older than I am, but that doesn't mean you're stronger. I am stronger in every way, in speaking with the lady that hates me, in relating with my brother's weird new friend and in the most basic art of reproducing."
He grabbed the collar of my shirt and kicked me inside. He threw me to the ground and laughed at how my head snapped. I shook my head violently and my neck stood straight.
"I did not leave the vampire realm to start living a boring life. I trained myself to be a better and stronger vampire. Ahhh. Your girl's here. She must taste so good. Mmhm. Now she's closer. Feet thudding. Grabbing the doorknob. Tired. Sighing. Knocking on the door." I said and then there was a knock on the door. Noah smiled as he walked back there to pull it open. I knew that he was impressed with how accurate I was.
Isabella entered the building now and I felt my blood pressure increasing. I was feeling pushed to go against my wills. I sharply turned around to face her and I noticed the wounds on her hands. She was bleeding. I snarled and whooshed in to control myself. She must have seen that happen but Noah was there to compose a quick cover-up story.
