"Are you all ready?" Florian asked, his voice low as he joined the princesses at the base of the staircase. His sharp gaze swept over them. "The moment we step forward, everyone is going to try and talk to us."
Athena hesitated, her fingers gripping the delicate fabric of her gown. "I guess..." she murmured, glancing away.
Florian caught the flicker of unease in her expression and softened. 'Right... she's a shy one. She probably feels uncomfortable trying to talk with others. I'll have to look out for her.'
Alexandria, ever composed, tilted her chin up, a small, knowing smile gracing her lips. "Let's not disappoint His Majesty."
Mira sighed, raising a hand to her cheek as if already bracing herself for the impending conversations. "I only hope they greet us kindly," she said, her tone edged with doubt. "Though, I suspect they won't. We are, after all, foreigners."
