"Oh wow, he knows our names Umbros hideeeee"

Voltari said in a joking tone as he stood in front of the short boy who was looking up at his form squinting his eyes.

"Bet ya wanna see how we look now don't ya boy?"

He laughed at Mort's fidgety body language.

"Will you stop worrying the boy, you idiot?"

Umbros muttered as he grabbed Voltari by the neck and pulled him back.

Snapping his fingers the darkness disappeared and was replaced by white light.

They appeared to be in what was a room, endlessly long and wide.

The sudden change of environment made Mort wince as his eyes slowly adjusted to the lighting. Taking a good look at them, he noticed somethings.

Voltari was a very tall guy with pale skin, an inch taller than Galen and half his size, regardless he was still muscular.

He was wearing a blue short sleeved T-shirt that clung on to his body, with some black pants having white lightning stripes sown on the sides.

The strangest thing was his hair and eye. His hair looked disheveled, like it was struck by lightning and was silverish white in color.

As for his eyes, his pupils were a mix of silver and blue, like a storm was forming in them.

They appear to glow with his smile? Huh?

Looking over at Umbros who was around the same height, was tan, had a slicked back pitch black hair, a black cloak that covered his body from the neck down.

He appeared to be lean and his eyes were the darkest set he has ever seen, it was like staring into the dark but it was alive.

"I prefer not to be stared at for long, it's uncomfortable"

Umbros stated as he disappeared, melting into the ground.

His body was gone but his presence could still be felt.

Mort was confused by the action but before he could dwell much on it,

"Don't worry, he's always broody" Voltari told him, as he placed his hands on his shoulder, snapping him out of his train of thoughts.

"Now I'm sure you have a lot of questions"

With a crisp snap of his fingers, a bench appeared behind him. He sat down and patted besides him, signalling Mort to sit with him.

He timidly sat beside the strange god, looking at his hands, fidgeting.

"If someone else was to see you right now and during the fight, they'd think you had an evil twin."

Voltari stated as he looked at the small boy beside him, observing his body language.

"S-sorry, it's just everything feels like a dream.

For the first time in my life I actually felt like I could do what I wanted..." Mort began talking but paused suddenly.

Confused by the pause, Voltari looked back at him only to see tears dropping down the boy's face.

He was crying, but for what reason? Maybe it was because he felt awesome? I mean who wouldn't with a god's power flowing through em?

"I killed them didn't I?"

Ok, maybe not all were happy having a god's power.

All Mort felt was a hand patting his hair, it felt comforting.

"Well you did, but not really. Ugh I don't really have the gift of explaining stuff. Umbros, come do your job will ya?."

Voltari groaned like a child who didn't want to do his homework.

Black mass formed in front of Mort's feet startling him. Starting out as a small ball and quickly expanding into a slightly bigger one. Familiar looking tendrils grew out of the ball as it expanded. It 'climbed' up till it formed a humanoid shape and slowly fell off, exposing a bored looking Umbros.

"The boys you killed are brought back to life. Thanks to the Phoenix I absorbed, from the fire boy-"

"Jake" Mort cut off Umbros, wiping away his tears the feeling of relief washing over his body.

"Yes, the fire boy Jake, anyways with that I stole the life force of that Phoenix and using it, with some special abilities of mine, I resurrected those boys-"

"What if they told people about what happened?" Mort cut him off again, but this time he saw Umbros' eyebrow twitch.

"I would like it if you didn't interrupt me"

Umbros stated in a calm voice as he turned his back to Mort and Voltari.

He brought out his right hand and a figure of a human was formed out of the tendrils extending from his fingertips.

He turned facing them, with a small tendril forming a teacher pointer in his left hand.

"Awww it has a small hand at the tip that's pointing out" Voltari pointed out as Mort began to laugh upon noticing it. Umbros got rid of it, with a dark look on his face.

"That's not-"

A black hand appeared in front of Voltari and covered his mouth, preventing him from talking.

"If anyone interrupts me one more time...." Umbros spoke out, leaving what he'd do to the two idiots infront of him, to their imagination.

With a shudder, they nodded their heads quickly, seeing how cold it suddenly got.

"As I was saying" Umbros moved the pointer to the human figurine made out of the tendrils in his right hand.

"Humans are into two types, those who can use elements and those who cannot. The only way to identify them apart from the use of the elements is the sigils on their bodies."

A sigil formed on the figurine, at the neck.

"Sigils serve as the gateways that allow humans to access the elements, using their life force. The more they use the elements the more life force it drains, too much and you get exhausted, worse case scenario you die."

The sigil broke apart and evaporated into the atmosphere.

Umbros then formed 7 different symbols in the air in front of him. Squishing the figurine in his hand he started pointing at them;

"The sigils of the elements are different,

The easiest way to tell which is which, is by the color.

Fire is obviously red with some hints of gold.

Water is deep blue with a watery sheen,

Earth is brown,

Wind is white,

Light is white with a gold undertone,

Lightning is electric blue,

And my shadow sigil is deep black with a faint

purple aura."

He wiped out the sigils and continued as he held the pointer and pushed both ends together.

"If you have any questions feel free to ask me."

He looked at his audience only to see they have fallen asleep.

Letting out an exasperated sigh, he pinched the bridge of his nose and muttered curses under his breath.
