The town square had looked nothing like anchorage Emma was extremely unfamiliar with the type of places that the spirit world had to offer, but for some reason that unfamiliarity had sparked something in Emma, wanting to explore this unknown world to its fullest. It was an alien idea to Emma, something that usually shouldn't belong in her mind.
"Rember, I don't even exist, so don't even hint towards my existence," The odd clothed man reminded her.
"Wait, what do I address you as?" Emma had nearly completely forgotten about the odd clothed man's identity, so she had wanted to ask him before he left.
The odd clothed man smirked and announced in a hushed tone "You can call me Mr. Wishing Star for now,"
"Thank you, Mr. Wishing Star. I promise to complete your mission as fast as possible!" Emma declared.
With that the Mr. Wishing Star had disappeared from where he was and left Emma alone in the quiet townsquare. Emma had thought to herself what type of name was the Wishing Star, Mr. Wishing Star obviously had a horrid naming sense.
Emma had begun exploring the empty town square, walking through alleyways and empty roads.
'How hard could it be to get a patron?' Emma remembered what she had told herself, yet she couldn't even find other spirits! What could she do even if she hadn't been able to find a patron?
Just as she had thought that she walked into a park-like area with yellow grass and a red water fountain spew out normal looking water. The park area was filled to the brim with spirits, that all looked very... human?
Emma had expected other spirits to be animal-human hybrids, kind of like Kushtaka. Surprisingly everyone there looks human. except for the odd hair colors she could see, and their old sense of fashion, she would think that these are all ordinary people from the seventeenth century.
A newfound confidence had emerged in Emma, she thought that it would be easier to find a patron if people were willing to communicate with her, instead of eating her like Kushtaka.
Emma had begun walking to people to try and talk to them about needing a patron or at least explaining what one is and how she could get one. As she was doing she noticed something in her peripheral visions. It was two people looking spirits, and one giant snake with a cubicle belly and gaint reptilian legs and arms, wearing pants, or she thought that these people would be calling it Trousers, and a long sleeve pale shirt.
The three had been off the grassland area and were leaning on one of the towering blue buildings near an alleyway.
For some reason Emma felt really compelled to ask them about patrons, and other questions.
When she had reached there, the trio had noticed Emma walking towards them and got up to talk to her.
"What did you want, kid?" asked one of the human looking ones with black hair and brown eyes.
"Yeah, didn't your mother tell you not to talk to strangers, after all we might eat ya whole like a Mulcon cake," the other human looking one with brown hair and blue eyes informed.
The giant snake guy had remained quiet. Looking at the snake guy closer, it had been standing two times the size as one of the other guys near him, with green reptilian skin and yellow eyes and black pupils.
Without even thinking much Emma had asked like a child who had seen someone who didnt look like there family members. "Why do you look like that?"
"Excuse me?" The giant snake replied.
"I mean why do you look like a snake when everybody else looks like a human? Doesn't that seem weird to you," Emma asked because of the compelling force.
"Cause I'm me and no one else deserves the right to be me. If you have a problem with that then, I'm more than willing to duel you."
"Oh no I got zero problems with you sir, I just felt like I had to ask that, for curiosity's sake," Emma responded trying to clear her case.
" If you mean that then you can go, just try to control yourself next time," The understanding giant snake guy said.
"Thank you, I promise that I'll try my best too. Oh, before I leave one more question. Why is your upper body built like a cube?"
