Abnormal Defeat

"PLEASE, THER-" the shouting had abruptly come to an end.

"Should we?" Orm asked Alita.

Alita had not moved or said anything, from Emma's perspective it seemed like her brain had suddenly broken from pressure.

"It's a part of our duty to do so." Oliver answered while heading towards the four story building.

"It is," Alita added while heading towards the building too.

The rest of the group had followed behind Alita, who had begun running towards the building surpassing Oliver. She had dodged the body's near the door and entered the building, and the rest of the group followed.

The insides of the building had a bar just like Avid's but a bit worse, and most importantly was filled with a bunch of abnormal looking bodies. Emma had wanted to puke at the sight of the human like bodies, but she had kept herself from doing so. Looking around she had noticed that the rest of the group had not been too bothered about it, but they weren't joyful about the bodies either.

Alita had found a door to head to the next floor, where they had heard the screams and plea for help. The group had followed Alita to a small room that had a spiral staircase that led all to the fourth floor.

Alita had just jumped towards the second floor and landed on the rails that were near a door, while the group had rushed up the stairs and followed. When the group had reached the second floor, they had seen Alita kneeling on the floor, talking to a spirit who had a tail, and was laying on the floor profusely bleeding.

Emma had heard the spirit say. "Get revenge for me please!"

"What happened?" Alita asked, concerned by the spirit's current state.

"A group of 10 people had just attacked us, I don't know what they looked like but, please, still get revenge for me." The guy had been breathing heavily, and the bleeding had been more severe.

"..." Alita had held her breath, and had just sat there like she had been waiting for something to happen.

The guy had suddenly gasped for air loudly, and just stopped moving all together. Emma had felt bad for the men and wanted to question her team members for just standing by, but… It's probably best if she hadn't done so yet, after all they were in a serious situation.

"Why did you just ignore him?" Emma said to her own surprise, realizing that she had only done so because of her suffering.

"Cause I didn't want to lie. If you're feeling bad about him, he has been involved in multiple murders over the past year. We hadn't been able to catch him because of the gang that takes care of him, Abnormalities." Alita explained with a comforting tone.

"Course this earthling would feel bad about a serial killer's death." Orm added.

"Wait, Abnormalities? Were in Abnormalities base? Did we just seriously get lucky?" Emma questioned in utter surprised.

"I guess so." Alita answered.

"Let's head further up the building, that's probably where those masked killers are at."

"Yes ma'am" the group shouted.

They had once again headed up the stairs while Alita had just jumped. They had stopped at the fourth floor, where they heard someone screaming right at this moment. They bust open the door and make their way through.

The fourth floor seems to be an open layout, with a giant golden safe in the back. The floor had once had dead bodies lying in it, but this time there was a person. The person had been wearing completely black and a mask around her neck. She had golden hair, and dark blue eyes. This time Emma had been quick to make sure she had done anything unnecessary, like puking. She had only been wondering.

Alita had looked at the women slightly pissed. Then asked in sync with Emma.

"Were you the one who had done this?"
