A white haired guy, wearing a black tuxedo, and a woman who was in what looks like an expensive red dress. That was the two people who stood in front of Emma, when the massive curtain disappeared.
Emma assumed that the white haired fellow was Moi's friend, Placido. She hadn't known who the other person was, or what she was doing.
The women stood by the right side of Placido, eyeing Emma down.
"Hello Moi!" Placido said. Now that Placido wasn't behind the curtain, Emma could finally put a face behind that voice. Emma had come up with many different types of faces that could match Placido's, but she hadn't expected him to look like this at all, he was what they say handsome.
"Placido, why are you showing yourself? I thought you liked being behind a curtain." Emma asked, gleefully.
"Well since you're my friend, I thought it would be weird if I hadn't shown my face." Placido shyly, while repeatedly trying to cover his face with his hands, stopped himself from doing so.
'Friends? No we are not friends, we are enemies, this is just a facade.' Emma thought with a sheepish smile. Emma couldn't help but be distracted by the women next time who just stood and stared. Now that she was thinking about it, why were the women even there in the first place?
"Who is she though?" Emma asked, maintaining her friendly attitude
"Oh she's just a part of my ability, no need to worry." Placido smiled, and waved his hand. The women in a fancy red dress disappeared into thin air, like how the curtain had.
"Your ability lets you make people? How is that even fair!" Emma jested, truthfully she had been trying to get to know why Placido's ability truly was. After all, the only reason she came here was to get information out of them before they attacked, what the point of her even being there if she hadn't done so? To play around and make new friends? No, these people were murderers, and worse, and that definitely includes Placido, the boss of those murderers.
"My ability, it's a bit more complicated than just allowing me to make people and create this place." Placido spreaded out his arms towards the entire jungle place they were in, as if he were claiming all of this was his. "Since you are my friend it couldn't possibly hurt to tell you. My ability allows me to create a small world of my own, within the limits of my imagination, and my spirituality. In this world I can create even more smaller things in it, also known as 'Citizens.' A citizen could be anything that my spirituality could handle, like a rope, golem, or even a person. Unfortunately there is another limit to, the more intelligent the 'Citizen' is the more spirituality it's going to cost."
Placido let out a sigh of relief. "It feels good to finally tell someone this. Like an actual person."
Although Emma wanted information on his ability, she didn't expect him to just tell it all to her with weaknesses included. Emma was delighted she had gotten the information she came for, she was useful! Emma looked at Placido, and started to wonder if she was even actually useful at all.
"Wow, that sounds amazing, no wonder you're the leader of Shy House." Emma complemented.
"Why thank you, Moi." Placido smirked. "It's not really much of a big deal to have lead, and create such a massive organization throughout George district."
"Yeah no big deal at all." Emma played along with a smirk.
"By the way Moi, have you decided if you're going to be coming along with me yet? I promise you will have a nice time in C zone if you do."
Emma was reminded of Placido's offer, what was she even supposed to do? Reject him, tell him that her and two others are planning to kill you tomorrow, so they can't really go tomorrow?
"I think I want to go." Emma lied to him, she decided that it was better than telling him no. "It sounds like a really nice place, how could I reject such an offer!"
"Thats spectaculur! I really thought you weren't going to come because of how long you've been delaying it. We'll go tomorrow afternoon, so pack your bags and prepare!" Placido's voice had not sounded like it even belonged to him anymore, it sounded too enthusiastic, way different from his normal shy attitude.
"Ok." Emma said, wanting to leave there as soon as possible. She felt like she was allowed to stay there anymore.
Today was the day it finally happened, Emma, Oliver, and Alita were finally going to reply with violence to Shy House's attack on them.
Alita had finally returned right in the morning, or perhaps somewhere in Night. Alita had been a wanderer, she could go out during the Night and be completely fine after all.
"I got backup, but they're only willing to help to take care of anyone below a wanderer." Alita announced to the two other people in the room, while she had a wooden staff in hand.
"That means that we'll only have to deal with the leader of Shy House himself." Emma responded coldly.
"Shall we go then?" Oliver pitched in.
The three had now been on top of the black ominous building that belonged to Shy House. Alita had already dealt with the long ear goblin-like creature that was friendly towards Emma.
Emma steered herself at the sight of its dead body; she had to deal with Shy House, and she definitely couldn't do it afraid.
Emma had already tooken the shape of Moi, she was going to walk in through the building the normal way, while Oliver and Alita were going to buss open some part of the roof to go in.
"Emma, are you sure you don't want to just follow us through the roof? Back up is going to come soon too, they might mistake you for one Shy House employee and kill you too." Alita told her with a worried tone.
"I'll be fine."
