Evolution, the prime aspect of existence. It was how life goes on and continues. It was the core aspect of life that Jacob used when creating something.
'I will create towers for only the most valuable to climb. Should they succeed then they will ascend higher then they thought possible. I'll have to start small so a single floor will do.'
It wasn't uncommon to see a masked person in the streets as Jacob had already passed over a dozen masked warriors who were simply strolling the streets. But almost none of them had someone following them.
"You don't need to hide. I can sense the Divine Energy within you."
Jacob stopped in his tracks and turned to see a woman with brown hair and blue eyes holding a knife in her hand.
"Very observant of you, who are you?"
Jacob used his staff to once again link his mind to the being behind the woman.
"Ask me that question yourself, Gaia…"
Gaia, Mother Nature incarnate. Yet another creature Jacob had made during his time as the Anomaly.
"What are you? You know my True Name and you Summoned me through my Avatar… no mage could do that but you aren't a Celestial."
Jacob didn't have the time to chat and nothing good would come from explaining.
"My name is Jacob… and I am here to help those who are chosen Evolve."
The next moment Jacob flew into the sky and used his staff as a conduit to channel his energy of Creation and Destruction to erase the nearby park from existence and build the first Tower of Trials.
But the Tower needed a climber so as he constructed the Tower he created a brand symbolizing Nature's fire and beauty.
Once the Tower was completed so too was the Brand as Jacob gave it a gentle blow to send it to its destination.
Jacob felt his energy running low but not to the point of exhaustion.
'I still need to recover my powers… perhaps I can apply for Hunter Status. Then I would be able to sell off my creations and expand my powers.'
In order for Jacob to regain that which he had lost he needed to push himself further and further.
So if he were to create weapons to empower Hunter's of humanity then it would help them and himself.
But that was something for another day as Jacob notice he was surrounded by Hunter's and Military.
"Your surrounded! Hands up!"
Jacob felt a few Hunters with Divinity, Gaia's Avatar included.
So to avoid revealing himself to the masses he dropped his staff and allowed himself to be arrested by the military and shot a look off to Gaia before being stuffed into the back of a police car.
Gaia felt a familiar presence in Jacob, one she hasn't felt for eons.
'That look… that power… it can't be…'
Gaia had begun to recognize who Jacob truly was, after all she had called him Papa many times over.
Inside the holding cell a few hours later Jacob was simply resting before he felt Gaia's Avatar run in brake open the bars.
"Always the most impatient one huh Gaia… despite the circumstances I am pleased to see you once again."
Gaia's Avatar gave Jacob back his mask and staff as they walked out.
"My Master would like to know what you require? A home? Food? Clothes? Just ask and I will inform her."
It was logical to ask if Jacob needed fresh clothes as all he was wearing was his robe and mask.
"I wish to know how to apply to gain a Hunter License. But some clothes will be nice as well."
Jacob would have made his own clothes and created a few apples from a nearby tree but his power was still replenishing.
So until it recovered he needed help once again.
As for how to apply for a hunter license? He simply wanted to speak face to face with another being despite already possessing the knowledge inside of the Ethereal Realm.
"Applying for a Hunter License is quite simple. They simple test your Mana Count and Abilities before they give you a class and Rank."
As they talked Jacob could feel Gaia's happiness as clear as day.
'No doubt you have already figured out my identity. It's a shame I couldn't reveal myself to the others.'
Jacob knew Gaia could keep a secret but he wasn't sure if the other celestial's would.
But like Gaia's Avatar he needed someone to act through to do what he could not.
That was why Jacob lured Gaia to him.
"Please tell your Master that I will require your Factions influence to remain hidden until I'm ready."
"Understood, but may I ask who you are? I've never seen my Master so erratic before."
Jacob gave a small chuckle behind the mask but kept walking in the streets.
"I'm simply an old friend. Now let's get some food since I have to sustain my hunger and I'm very interested in trying the cuisines. Oh I nearly forgot to ask for your name, I am Jacob Hunt."
"I'm Mara Thorn, it's a pleasure to meet you."
The two went to a nearby restaurant completely ignoring the uproar that Jacob had caused by making the Tower.
"Sir! An unknown structure has appeared in the city! Witnesses say that a man wearing a mask and robe made it."
"Explain in detail! What did the man look like? Where did he go? Where is he now?"
The assistant proceeded to explain the events of Jacob tower construction in every little detail imaginable.
Karan Olmen, current CEO of the Hunter's Bureau felt the life drain from his face.
"Find out anything else you can about this man! This is our number one priority! Go!"
Once the assistant left Karan opened his drawer in his desk and grabbed a white stone to speak with his Deity, Zeus, Chief God of Olympus.
"My Lord, I fear a Celestial had stepped into the Mortal Realm."
"Are you certain? If so then hasten your efforts to break the dimensional barrier immediately! Do you know which Celestial it was?"
"No my Lord but whoever it was constructed a Tower unlike anything I have ever seen and warded it off from the outside world."
Few had the power of Creation and even fewer knew how terrifying it was. So this was a worrying thought to have to say the least.
"Inform me of any developments immediately."
"Very well my Lord."
