"wohaa... Ash your stats are higher than mine! and you can also wield divine power! and your skills also looks freaking good, with this we can hunt together." Arun was very happy to seeing Ash's status window and then he went towards the camp with Ash.

In the camp, A boy who was his early 20's with muscular body and red hair was bandaging the injured people, his name was Sohan.

Sohan saw a boy coming towards the camp who had fragile body and messy black hair. he was none other than Arun and when he arrived at the camp site, Sohan ran into him and hugged him tightly and said with his teary eyes: "Thank God! you're alive, after we dealt with the monsters, we couldn't find you anywhere, everyone said you died but my inner voice was telling me everytime that you're alive..."

Sohan was his childhood friend who was like Arun because he had also lost his parents in a dungeon break and he was a rank C hunter who had brought Arun with him there. seeing tears in his eyes Arun said, "Thank you for caring about me....don't worry i'm not gonna die that easily, you know how strong i am?" "I know, i know...how strong you're." Sohan said.

And then Arun and Sohan enter into the camp tent together and every one shocked there to seeing him alive, and thought: 'how can an ordinary human escaped alive from a high rank monster?! and also he hasn't any scratch on his body, is he hide his ability or something...?' and everyone was looking at him with suspicion.... (all his injuries were healed after his awakening.) he didn't tell anyone about his awakening including his childhood friend, he decided to keep it a secret until he became enough strong.

While he was telling about his escape except his awakening, he forgot about Ash.... he was anxious when he found out Ash was not there.

'Where is Ash?!.. where is he go?'

"it seems you're worried about something, what happened?" Sohan asked.

"Nothing much....have you seen a puppy who is following me?"

"Oh!.. the puppy who came with you."

"Yes.. have you seen him?"

"He didn't come into the camp so i think he is out there, but why're you asking that?"

"He is my pet, i found him when i was in the cave."

"oh!.. sorry." "It's okay."

And then he heard a girl's voice it came out of the tent. he immediately went there, and saw a girl who had black hair which was tied with hair pin was playing with Ash.

"What a cutie you are!.. o lele.. you're so cute!"

Seeing Ash his anxiousness lighten up to some extent but he worried because of the girl who was playing with Ash, he heard about her from Sohan, Her name was "Tanya" and she was an rank A hunter.

"Although she is a mage class hunter so why can't she feel any presence of mana from Ash?!" he didn't think that Ash could hide his mana that perfectly.... after that he went towards Ash.

And after reached close to Tanya.... when he looked at her, he lost his senses for a moment after seeing her beauty up close. an angelic type face, bluish eyes and hourglass like figure....

"Hey mister, where're you looking at?" Tanya said annoyingly. she thought he was someone who stalked her.

"sorry" he unconsciously said and tilted his head this way and that, as he thought that she didn't asked him but someone else.

"I said where're you looking at?" she said furiously and used her mana to scared him but he rejected it with his fear resistance skill, he unconsciously used his skill. and then he came to senses. 'what have i done?!'..

"O-oh!..s-sorry, i mean he is my pet.", he thought he was gonna caught by her if he stayed there any longer so he took Ash and started going towards Sohan in the tent.

"Wait.. where're you going in a hurry?" Tanya said.

However he stopped there but his heartbeat started beating fast and he turned his head towards Tanya and nervously said: "w-what do mean?"

While walking toward him Tanya said: "what're you?, i have never seen a non awaken who rejected my mana."

"w-what're you talking about and w-who rejected your mana?" he tremble with anxiousness 'I have unconsciously rejected her mana with fear resistant, what! if she tell everyone that i'm an awakened, i have to find a way to out of it.' and he looked at his locket. 'find it'

"You're misunderstanding something wrong, it's not me who rejected your mana." he said confidently.

"Then who is he?"

"It is my locket which rejected your mana."

"What do you mean?!"

"It is a magic artifact which protects its wearer by any fear type attack." Tanya walked towards Arun while looking at him, and her eyes piercing into his. but Arun didn't show any anxiousness, after she reached close enough to take his locket, she said: "let me see it if it is a artifact or not." Tanya had a skill, "Mana Detection" by which she could detect mana from artifacts and relics. and she took his locket.

'how can a mere locket reject my mana.' she narrowed her eyes to seeing it and said: "you said this is an artifact? but i can't feel any mana from it."

"Tell me what're you hiding from me?" she said apprehensively. and she concerned about him whether he was a false hunter or not.

"Oh!.. i forgot something to tell you about, it can be used only three times after that it become useless. i have used it three times now it's no longer a artifact but a mere locket."

Tanya was still anxious about him but she had to go to help other hunters who went after the boss monster.

"okay, i have some business so i have to go now, but i have my eyes on you from now on, if i find out anything fishy about you. i'm gonna kill you." and then she returned his locket, and he went into the camp with Ash. 'she was more dangerous than beautiful, i have to avoid her for a while.'

After sometime most of the hunters started take their weapons and went into deep forest. "what happen, why is everyone going into deep forest?" Arun said to Sohan. "oh! you don't know?.. when we dealt with every monster there, after that team leader, Raghav attacked the boss but he ran into deep forest, so team leader and few other hunters went after him. and they have found him so every one is going there to help them."

'If i have awakened a few months ago, i can also participate there...haa.. it can't be help...'
