"Mysterious billionaire?" asked Vivian and Jordan almost simultaneously.
"That's right and I heard that the billionaire is coming with his partner to Bastian Wade's fashion show. I'll buy the tickets for you, Vivian! You two need to find out who the mysterious billionaire is! At least get some information about him!" exclaimed Geoffrey.
Vivian nodded. "Take it easy dad. I'm a big fan of Bastian Wade, although I don't have much of his collection because I don't have the opportunity. I always run out, and last time I saw Cassandra get it. That sucks."
"That million dollar dress? I get so emotional when I see it!" sneered Jordan with a sly smile.
Vivian nodded. "It's not just you. I'm so disgusted remembering it. How dare she mock me like that." Vivian was silent for a moment and then she suddenly surprised everyone, "Wait, is it possible that the man with Cassandra is the mysterious billionaire?"
Vivian grabbed Jordan's arm and shook him gently, "Jordan, do you remember what he said when I said Cassandra was too extravagant? He wasn't angry at Cassandra and actually said that if Cassandra didn't take the dress it meant that Cassandra thought she was too poor."
Jordan who had been sitting upright immediately leaned his body on the back of the chair while smiling frivolously. "Why do you remember her so much? Do you think he really is a billionaire? I think what that man said was just a joke."
"But Jordan, he said it seriously and he also asked the shop assistant to help Cassandra get the accessories." Vivian looked adamant.
"Huh! That's just his trick. They didn't actually buy the dress and accessories. They just borrowed it to make a copy. Didn't you see it when Cassandra wore it to the gathering in white?" Jordan asked.
Vivian was silent and tried to recall Cassandra's appearance, but she was too lazy to do so. Remembering Cassandra's appearance would only cause her to feel jealous and also bring back bad memories of that day.
"Huh, I didn't pay much attention to her appearance. What's the point of remembering that annoying woman anyway. Is it not you who still remembers her? Are you thinking of going back to her, too?" Vivian asked curtly.
Jordan laughed as he pointed at his own face. "I want to go back to her? Ha ha ha are you that jealous? What good is she? I'm asking you this just to tell you one thing. From what I saw, the dress Cassandra wore at the party was slightly different from the one in the boutique. The cut of the dress looks rough and the color is not as clear as the one in the boutique, plus Cassandra didn't carry a bag at all, she only held her cellphone and also I didn't see any jewelry on her. Don't you suspect anything?"
Vivian furrowed her brows and tried to remember then nodded. "Ah, that's right. When I met them at the boutique their appearance looked so simple, and the only luxury car parked in front of the boutique was yours. There's no way someone like them could afford to spend money at that boutique. Ah Jordan, why did I just think of this."
Indeed, when the two of them met Cassandra, Cassandra and Charles' clothes looked so saintly. The girl only wore a knee-length dress with no pattern and also wore a sling bag. While Charles wore a khaki-colored shirt paired with white shorts. There was nothing special about the two of them.
"Hmm, could it be that the shop assistant is an acquaintance of Charles, so the two of them were able to work together and let Cassandra borrow the dress for a day?" asked Vivian.
"That's very possible, dear. Since I saw them getting along so well, it's also possible that the shop attendant is his family."
"You two, don't you have something more important to talk about? There's no need to talk about that brat anymore. Now we'd better think about how to attract the attention of that mysterious billionaire!" Geoffrey suddenly spoke up.
Vivian and Jordan were both silent, after which Geoffrey said, "It's true what Jordan said, that man with Cassandra can't be a mysterious billionaire. He's still too young to get that title. Besides, his name isn't famous either." Geoffrey then chuckled and said, "You should know that a mysterious billionaire wouldn't be interested in a woman like Cassandra. A billionaire would choose at least women from his business colleagues, have a good educational background and be elegant."
Megan snorted in exasperation, "That brat is just making things difficult for the Miller family. It's still good that Jordan is willing to have a relationship with him, but he's acting so wild."
Jordan smiled faintly, "I'm really blind to have been with him for so long. Why didn't I just look at Vivian back then? If I had been with Vivian, maybe this wouldn't have happened."
"You mean, Cassandra got drunk and had sex with other men?" Megan asked and laughed. "Ha ha she's already wild. With or without you, she'll still act wild and embarrass the Miller family. It's lucky she's not here now, although she still gives us a hard time."
After saying this Megan turned to her husband and covered her mouth with her palm. "My husband, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to demonize your son and be unfair to Cassandra."
Megan then let out a long breath and started cursing herself. "Huh, why can't I keep my words to myself. I should be able to sort out which words are appropriate to say and which are not." Megan then squeezed her own fingers and began to feel uncomfortable.
But Geoffrey held her palm. "There's no need to feel bad for saying it. That child does have bad behavior. You've worked hard as a stepmother. You've taught him many things and loved him. He just doesn't know himself."
Megan nodded. "My husband, thank you for understanding me. I was really embarrassed and worried that you might think I didn't like her."
"You've done a lot for Cassandra, but she did something inappropriate. You shouldn't blame yourself," Vivian added.
"Huh, if only Cassandra would apologize. I'm sure that Geoffrey would forgive her and allow her to come back here as a family."
Geoffrey glared, "What? Forgive her? I won't!"
