Dylan's eyelids fluttered open to a blurred world, but this cleared up with time. The pain was gone, his breathing was much better than before and most importantly, the world had never been clearer.

It felt like moving from 2D to 3D games—the change was massive.

Was it the chirping of birds, the hunks of car horns, or the light laughs in his apartment floor corridor? Dylan could hear them all. His sense of smell and his sight had improved.
