Unexpected Interference

The stench of blood filled the alleyway, and Dylan's voice was drowned under the mixture of loud music, screams, and Gunshots. This was the kind of situation where people were not meant to be alone, but Dylan didn't mind.

The excitement that came from bullying the demon was unreal. It felt like taking a tequila shot for the first time—the feeling was something he couldn't explain.

"Control yourself, my Lord," Lich said from the safety of a dumpster a stone's throw behind Dylan. "Overindulgence in these chaotic emotions is harmful!"

"Yeah, yeah… I'll keep that in mind." Dylan waved him off while watching the gore hound assume a fighting stance.

A small smile played on his lips when he saw this, and he began hopping from side to side like a boxer warming up for a fight.

"Human…. Don't you dare look down on pure-blooded demons!" The Gore Hound snapped.

Awwwwwwoooooooooooo!
