Fox's Play

By the time Dylan got home, the red sedan was parked a few blocks away from his apartment. In the past, this would unnerve him, but strangely, he felt confident and relaxed.

He got out of his car and casually walked down two blocks like it was nothing. Dylan knocked on the window twice and waited patiently for Father Corbin to wind down.

"May I know why I keep getting stalked by priests?" Dylan asked

Koff! Koff!

Father Corbin let out nervous coughs before looking up to Dylan's face and smiling sheepishly. He didn't have a response.

Dylan let out an exhausted sigh. The old him would throw threats in hopes of scaring this man but the fox king was different.

"Is there a way I can cooperate and give you whatever you are looking for so that you can leave me alone?" Dylan asked.

This time Corbin was taken aback by the request.

"Are you serious?" He blurted out in surprise.

A demon eager to prove his innocence?
