Sophia's Point of View
"I hope you enjoyed the gift I sent to you," I murmured, my tone dripping with mock sweetness.
Nancy's breath hitched, and she instinctively took a step back.
But there was nowhere for her to go.
I watched her with amusement, her already bruised face turning paler by the second.
"W-why are you doing this?" she whispered, her voice trembling as much as her body.
I scoffed, tilting my head. "Oh, Nancy. Have you forgotten so soon?" I pouted mockingly. "You used to be my little pet. My perfect, obedient manager. But then you betrayed me."
Nancy shook her head frantically. "I didn't! I never...."
"Shh," I interrupted, placing a single finger over my lips. "Let's not lie to each other, hmm?"
Nancy's lips quivered, but she said nothing.
Good.
I took another step forward, closing the distance between us.
