Sophia's Point Of View
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
A horrified scream tore from my throat as I stared at my reflection.
My usually flawless, glowing skin, the skin I prided myself on was covered in deep purple bruises and swollen red marks.
One of my eyes was puffed up, the skin around it darkened, and a long, thin scratch ran down the side of my cheek.
I looked like I had been in a brutal fight.
"W-What happened to my face?!" I shrieked, my fingers trembling as they hovered over the bruises.
My breath came in shallow gasps, panic clawing at my throat.
"No…no, this isn't happening," I whispered, my voice shaking.
"Oh, but it is," Morana said sweetly, her voice mocking.
I whipped my head towards her, my vision blurring with rage.
"YOU DID THIS!" I accused, my voice cracking.
